2 things to consider that just might help you solve this mystery: 1) that Saga's wages for half a season are approximately half the total for the entire season, close season excluded. 2) the possibility that nobody actually wanted to loan or buy Saga in the January window, so the management "team" decided that as he was here we might be well advised to play him. Quite why you feel the need to act as if there's some great conspiracy here is totally beyond me. Still, if it keeps you from getting bored, so be it....

Can anyone else see the irony in the posts from those people who are claiming that they're 100% behind the team and irate at that being questioned also trying to think of new, abusive songs to sing at the chairman and manager during the game instead of singing to support the players?

If that's the case, why have you made so many posts on the 3 threads currently running on this subject, including this one: You seem awfully animated for someone who "couldn't give a monkies" about what the man says. -
who wants us to go into admin and/or wotte to fail

Warrington? -
If only we could be awarded points for non-competitive friendly games then we could be safe now.
-
How rational. I'm glad your arguments are so well considered.
-
And for that reason, I'm out.

There's positive thinking and then there's delusion, tbf.

Sadly, they have a better team than us on paper and on grass. -

And if people are doing this then their consciences will be clear and they have no reason to take offence at what Wotte said. -

As I said on the other thread: -
That there was a thread on here asking who people would support should Saints cease to exist should be frightening enough for people to realise that administration is not something that anyone should look forward to. I'd rather we played in League One with Rupert Lowe in goal and Mike Wilde up front for the next ten years than have no SFC to support at all.
-
Indeed. If it doesn't drive us to victory against the English, European and World Champions then it is really is a fallacy. Edited now, just for you.
-
It has more chance of encouraging the team to play better and try a little harder than a pre-match march that they won't even see or hear. Seriously Daren - are you really going to try to argue that increased revenue does not equal a better chance of football success? I know you're not that daft! BTW - I think it might be worth looking back to the last time we had a full house at SMS in this league and the crowd really got behind the team. A couple of quotes from that day too:
-
Cue someone blaming Lowe for not taking us into administration 4 years ago
-
Were you planning to join in with the march tomorrow?
-
Rather than give your usual pithy response, why not try to constrcut a counter-argument to David's? What is incorrect in his post and what do you not agree with?
-
Simples. Jones did not have the power to veto any decisions that were approved by the board, regardless of how much he may* have disagreed with them. *I'm not saying he did, btw.
-
That sounds remarkably like a schoolboy in the playground screaming "I know you are, but what am I?" Not something I would have expected from someone "educated to Master's level in a proper subject, not Media Studies" to be fair.
-
Remind me how we got on in game following the previous march?
-
2 things Daren. Are you trying to convince us that this march on Saturday will go some way to helping us get 3 points? And are you know going to argue that more income via gate receipts would not give us more money to spend on players and probably a better team? If so, that would be the kind of comedy gold that couldn't be made up. Except that you just would have done, obviously.

Oh, so it's purely in your head. Thanks for clearing that up. -
Did you remember to check under your bed for Rupert last night? And in the wardrobe?

Alternatively, I can ask whether the paper is yet on sale so that I have an idea when we might be made aware of what Wiseman has to say. Don't judge everyone else by your own despicable standards.
