Probably, but nobody here will enjoy it as much as you. I think I'll follow the game somewhere else.

This one-eyed rewriting of history is so ludicrous. The managerial arse-ups were a large factor in relegation, but so were injuries and a failure to hold onto leads (e.g. 2-0 vs Middlesbrough with minutes to go, ends up 2-2 - those points would have kept us up) as well as many other factors. But no, of course it's not a complex situation with many factors, it's all the fault of Lowe, that bad bad man. Is nobody who remembers the mob insanity of S4E when Mike Wilde turned up a little surprised that the same loud anyone-but-Lowe people are still so loud about it today? Nothing quite like a complete failure to learn from your mistakes. It seems a childlike form of shouting belligerence is a good substitute for a brain.
-
It's just like it was just before Wilde saved the club with his investment-promising manifesto and put football first. Hooray for anyone but Lowe! Anyone who dares to have a different point of view is shouted down by cries of Lowe Luvvie or Pixie or whatever the juvenile insult of choice is. I think many people have found that their days are cheerier if they don't come on here. It's like reading the Daily Mail.

I generally don't spend much time on this board because I find the relentless simple-minded negativity of you and your ilk utterly depressing. For instance, I would say that contributory factors for our relegation were... every club our size eventually gets relegated, 3 managers in a season, a failure to hold onto leads, key injuries, Redknapp not wanting to be here, etc, etc, etc. I've posted a longer list on a thread in the past. You simply blame Lowe and refuse to even consider the possibility that it might be more complex. Your last comment is enlightening though - shows how you view things - Somebody Must Be BLAMED!
-
And I pity the desperation of certain individuals who write thousands and thousands of posts, utterly determined to view things in the most simple-minded terms possible. It's Lowe's fault, it's Burley's fault, it's Lowe's fault again and on and on you go....
-
No no, I mean complexity - as in a situation which is affected by many factors.
-
Your sneering at Scotland is a little unnecessary. I'd take Mark McGhee as manager almost any day of the week - he got Motherwell playing decent football and they fully deserved to finish third behind the Old Firm. I'd agree that Burley should have done better with the resources at his disposal but your continual, personal and tiresome vendetta against him last year was utterly pathetic. At least you've got Rupert Lowe back as your main villain now. Easier to have a pantomime villain, eh? Saves having to appreciate the complexity of any situation.
-
You mean a mailing list (not a site) which is renowned for good-humoured debate amongst adults, who can hold opposing views and still discuss them sensibly? To my mind much better than somehwere for small children to whinge and thow insults at each other. Still, to each their own.
-
Yeah, that's right, with even less money coming into the club, it's really going to help.
-
Wow, so many so proud of cutting off their nose to spite their facee.
-
Yeah? Why do you think that is? Odd that so many complete strangers can all reach the same conclusion. I saw you were active in the match threads and thought "nah, I'll follow the game somewhere else". Life's too short to have your unique brand of negativity inflicted on me.
-
Yeah, have you ever been on a day-trip, or a day out or something like that - 10 or so people, but one person spends the whole time moaning - this isn't good enough, that isn't how I would have done it, why didn't we go that way? Just whinging, whinging, whinging constantly, nit-picking every single decision. You get these people everywhere, habitually spoiling everything with their bloody moaning, like a snotty 4 year old. There are a few on this forum - thousands and thousands of posts, about 90% of them whinging and bleating.

Lowe and WH Ireland: Why the connection is pivitol for our club

Oh, absolutely, but he's a common troll, surely? I view Scooby more as an eccentric comedy character, like Basil Fawlty, Prince Phillip or alpine_saint. -

Oh, come off it - your constant class-based trolling is a bit tiresome. It may be a factor in a small percentage of those who hate Lowe, but I seriously doubt it's more than a very small percentage. I think it's more to do with taking football just a bit too seriously. That and the perpetual need to scapegoat. -

Oops, what a fool, that was supposed to be on the does-everyone-still-hate-Lowe thread. So blinded by love for my fellow man am I that I can't even navigate a message board. -

Ho ho, this thread is genuinely funny - all the grrrr-I-hate-Lowe responses. These tell you a lot more about the people themselves than about Lowe, who is after all, a pompous arrogant businessman. An unlikable ***t, quite probably, but not the devil. If you find yourself geniunely hating the chairman, or whatever he happens to be, of a football club, yes just a football club, not life or death, just football, then it's a pretty good indication of the pathetic priorities that exist in your life. There are more important things, many more. And no, I don't hate Portsmouth either, or Derby or Germany or Argentina or any of the other entities that people seem genuinely proud to spew invective about, like their childish tantrums are a good thing and not something to be laughed at by most.
