Dean Hammond signs for Leicester City

Right player, right time. Very neat midfielder. -
With all the massive TV payments coming in, is our ground still too small now to cover increased revenue...salaries, signings etc Do we need to step up another gear i.e increase seating, build up seating areas or is ground too small now? One thing is that it is in a horrible location. A last resort for Rupert at the time.

Is flatboy slim doing his burgers near to ground.....you know who I mean! started off at Dell used to come in when match started Milton Road end and sat in his three seats!
-
Fact agent true. Money grabbers, how does Lee have an agent? 10/20% ? Mercenary Lee. Get rid of agent, he was your worst ever decision, you will regret. He ruined your career. You could have been a Baines if it was not for your agent....

For a referee to get his own thread has got to be really, really bad. HE WAS A DISGRACE. He was the same last season he refereed here, can't remember the game.
-
Even though we reached the heights of Kevin Keegan, Bally, Channon, Armstrong in the eighties, this, with the amount of money we have spent, shows our true intent, we have never spent as big with salaries etc. Expectations now for us to deliver. Bring it on, this is our ever biggest season!!

Reading his autobiography. Had tough times finance wise with break up of first marriage and bad ankle injury. Still paying off his mortgage. Met him in Fair Oak last week after saying to him 'I've just bought your book!' Top man, a true Saints legend. Buy it!!!
-
In their time they were big signings. Shows are far we have come in such a short time. Football is fickle these days, you are at a club, on average, no more than two years.
-
After the revamp of The Ugly Inside today (Ugh)....which is best and who do you view the most?
-
In less than 5 years with massive investment we have achieved where we want to be. After a real hard baptism last season, we held our own with some brilliant performances. How far can our Club go now? So far so soon! It's a great ride to be on!
-
This could be our most exciting season since Keegan days, can we step up to those days. 'Would really love it!!' What do you think?

Dougal aka John Titheridge real name worked at Caustons the printers in Eastleigh for a few years then set up his own company Planet Reprographics.

More capacity at St Marys or new ground?
Horton Heath Saint replied to Horton Heath Saint's topic in The Saints
If you a true Saints fan then go and buy 'Suited and Booted'. Guess you don't even know what i'm talking about. Grow up, been Saints supporter before you were born. -
Love St Marys not sure about location. If new ground, where?
-
We are Southampton not Liverpool. Red and White stripped shirts with black shorts. Sort it.
-
Stripes please
-
Horton Heath. First match 1965 we beat Wolves 9-3!
-
Saints 1965 Wolves 9-3 first game. Suited and Booted book i was involved with Duncan Holley and David Bull, Saints football club official historians. Guess you never bought one. Go to club shop and any Waterstones, Duncan and David would be happy, buy it! Duncan will be more than pleased, he has spent a fortune and time on his findings. He has also spent the last five years on "All the Saints" Duncan is still working on this project night and day. Buy 'Suited and Booted' then you can call yourself a TRUE SAINTS FAN.

After all the hype, can Poch deliver. Your thoughts?
-
The way we are going 32000 capacity will not sustain our spending. We will have to increase capacity at some point to compete. How much? 40000, 50000 or move? And the cost?
-
We were very lightweight at the back last year, just got away with it. Still need top midfielder and big name signing striker. Poch & Cortese will be working big time at this time. Happy days.
-
We were in free fall before Marcus, Cortese. Leon Crouch, Michael Wilde and Rupert Lowe, then previous Rupert Lowe. As much Leon is a Saints supporter, Michael Wilde out of his depth, Lowe a money grabber. These people would not deliver to where are now. Happy days.
