  1. In that case I predict 3-1 Saints.
  2. TalkSport continually saying Redmond plays a pass etc.. Have I missed something?
  3. Seem to remember while he was with Saints we put out a team in the league that included 5 players who had captained England - struggle to put out a team with five English players now. A top, top class, proper central defender.
  4. Chichester? - slightly inconvenient. Camber? - quite a bit more inconvenient Burnley? - best wait for HS2 Or you could listen to the wireless about the time you intend setting off and see if they think it is/will be off - more reliable than conjecture by us lot. HTH
  5. Surely we would be WORSE off?
  6. Sorry, guys - my fault. I dropped Jiminez today and stuck in Ings in his place.
  7. Yeah. And they called Stuart Armstrong 'the Englishman'!
  8. 'injury time' - that's a beautifully old-fashioned expression! Last heard that on the wireless.
  9. You're on Ooooh damn!!!
  10. Could there be a separate thread for those who are interested in gambling rather than the football? It's getting tedious.
  11. Like it!!
  12. Maybe wrong thread but not wrong forum. A Saint's player is involved and starring. Keeping Celtic in it with his saves including saving a penalty.
  13. "Forster the difference between the sides" .... apparently
  14. "wonder save by Forster" !!!
  15. Gosh, why didn't I think of that. What a sensible reply. I bow to your superior intelligence. But £8k?!!! You really weren't paying attention were you. And your ignorance is inexcusable - there are plenty of other places you could have found out the facts (though not the Daily Mail).
  16. You are completely wrong about the loss of £250 for low earners. If one in a marriage is a low earner who earns less then their tax-free allowance they can transfer up to £1,250 of their allowance to their partner if the partner pays tax. Therefore it is a MAXIMUM of £250, not a minimun, and that loss is in a two-wage/ salary family. It is a discriminatory tax and an anomaly aimed at encouraging marriage. Sounds like you are easily fooled by soundbites peddled by politicians to mask the good aspects of their opponent's manifesto. Good luck to you, you're gonna need it.
  17. Duckenfield was guilty of ignoring that just 4 years earlier a sudden rush on a football terrace lead to a crush and the deaths of 39 fans. He should have learnt the lesson and realised earlier what was happening In the previous case the people directly responsible were identified and 14 were convicted of manslaughter as a result. Yes, Liverpool fans (although on the official LFC website when the annual token mention of it is made they sickeningly say it was 'events' caused he deaths) Funny old world..
  18. Missing Lee? Do you mean Missee Lee? She could do a job for us right now and would only cost half a ransom.
  19. If bad grammar was a capital offence you would have been strung up by now.
  20. Bi like Brexit - I didn't vote for it but we've been on the edge of coming out for the last 3 years that I'm fed up with it so just do it, get it over with and we can all get on with it and start planning again and enjoying life.
  21. Looks like an arranged draw to me. North vs south and the Midlands teams play each other.
  22. Yes. It was because they considered the guy from Bristol City was the better candidate (and, possibly, they thought Pahars would in any case only turn up when he felt like it). Thread closed
  23. Danish?
  24. Nice, but it won't happen while the people in power believe it to be a fair way of doing business and are using such tactics for their own benefit. Anyway, I still haven't forgiven them for beating us 4-0 in the FA cup final.
  25. ...... and Liverpool who we can't score against .... except Ings!!!!!!
