  1. Sorry about your dyslexia, perhaps I can help. Anrew Surman is a man. Some men are 'Sirs' - put them together and you get sir-man - Andrew Sir-man, easy isn't it. First time I thought it was lazy journalism from the Daily Star, but second time I realised your problem.
  2. Could he be son of Jim? I believe JJ is at Aldershot now, which isn't that far from Reading.
  3. Very sharp!! I like it - Chet Atkins and all that!
  4. Genuinely talented musicians who started as kids in traditional American country music and emerged to become rock stars who have a deep knowledge of country and rock music and love of the mining communities of Kentucky in which their families worked, survived breakdowns through drugs etc. and still touring in their 70's with their spine-tingling harmonies almost as good as ever. I shall never respect any opinion you may offer in the future - even if you suggest BWP is not yet a complete footballer!
  5. Well that was fun wasn't it, but I think we agree that it should have been 'either ..... or' As for the 'and' challenge I am sure I heard one that had 7 together but I can only remember one with 5: The sign writer left too large a space between slug and and and and and lettuce. I leave you to add your own punctuation.
  6. You have misread the post, are being illogical or just blindly abusive, or something, but VectisSaint did not actually say he viewed his named villains in the same light - he merely pointed out that he did not need to meet any of them to know he disliked them. You have the problem.
  7. Yeah, that lad Walcott looks like HCDAJFU
  8. Keane at Tottenham - 6 years Barry at Villa - 10 years I reckon that is anything but 'quickly' and that they gave loyal service to their clubs. Stop using cliches.
  9. I tried giving them some money on the first day, tried setting up a Paypal account which seemed to take forever; think I've got one now - in fact, seemed I had one already. I'll have another go when I have the time and patience to try throwing money at them again.
  10. 9. was meant to be 10. (but it could apply to the high earners too) What HAS happened to the 'edit' facility?
  11. I hope you are right - and I am, as usual at this time of year, optimistic - but some of your statements are purely speculative. e.g. 4. A bold forecast - let's just hope so. 8. Not sure I agree yet - a few "ifs" involved here - can you really say it's the BEST in the league at the moment? 9. Ummmm? Will they? Will it be a good thing if they do?
  12. We will get off to our usual slow start but once things settle down we will rise to within touching distance of the play-off places. Injuries to central defenders in November will see us struggle over Christmas and drop back to mid table. Rupert will then introduce more forward-thinking proposals to turn Saints into the most progressive football club in Europe resulting in total confusion amongst playing and coaching staff. Poortvliet brings back the old hands to try and steady the ship without success. Brings in some loan players. Absolute and total confusion. The fragile alliance of Wilde and Lowe comes to a head and they squabble in public. Saints drop to last place in the last week in April but the Saints Forum/Web - which by now has 15,000 paid-up members - rallies the missing 15,000 missing fans to getting to SMS. The team responds. 23rd.
  13. Maybe I'M being paranoid, or maybe you're being deliberately confusing, but in your first post that instigated the thread you said the guy was NOT named, and the point of your thread was that you were asking if anyone knew who he was. I think.
  14. Forgive me for asking what seems an obvious question, but what are you doing coming on here asking us the question that you should have asked your 'friend', and why, if he knew you were a Saints fan, did he not give you this information earlier rather than wait for you to bump in to him some 18months later? Perhaps he's not a friend. Perhaps he knows ****all too.
  15. .......and jumped on the Lowe in bandwagon when it suited his agenda.
  16. My butler looks like Rasiak, but one of the gardeners doesn't.
  17. Ha ha, very funny, loved the pun - but surely neither Dyer or BWP got on the pitch?
