  1. I agree, particularly if you have driven 100 miles to get to the match and can't make it that often you want to get as much of the football experience as possible. You can go to the pub or takeaway whenever. However, i think you have strayed on to the wrong site - you are being far too pleasant and reasonable!
  2. Not sure what language this is in but I am happy to try and assist in answering your query. Yes, it appears I did get 'consused' if by this you mean 'confused' and not 'concussed'. It appears I clicked on the wrong 'quote' button but, surely, if you had read the other posts it would not have taken much working out. It also appears you are a little 'consused'; I have not asked anyone if they were Nick Griffin - I was asked if I were Nick Griffin. I asked noone for an apology. HTH
  3. As you didn't answer my question I will take it as an admission you had no justification for likening my views to those of Nick Griffin. However, an apology would have been nice. Sit back in the comfort of your ignorance, leave any outrageous remarks unchallenged, and enjoy all things football. COYR
  4. Nope, simply a supporter of informed and intelligent discussion. If you can do no better than describe something as 'pathetic' I believe you should keep quiet. I believe the government of Thailand is pathetic, and gave a few reasons to support that view. There was nothing racist in my comments. The recent history of government in thailand is undemocratic, reactionary and brutal. I made no criticism of Thais or of Asian workers and tonibell's comment regarding the NHS is therefore irelevant, and a little unfair. I welcome all workers of all nations to this country, particularly as I would like the freedom to work in any part of the world I want (and many, many 'Brits' do work - and live - abroad). There is more suggestion of racism both in tonibell's comment that I should object to a Scot ruling England (but, of course, it is not actually an 'English' parliament, so this comment is also irelevant), and in your avatar. Our government, as I have already said, is not perfect, but to call it 'pathetic' is facile, moronic, and just a little insulting when the comment comes from someone whose own country is, on the whole, run by genuine crooks and thugs. Nick Griffin? How the Hell do you make that connection?
  5. You have clearly given it long and considered judgement so, although you ofer no evidence, I shall bow to your superior intellect. I hope you will be happy in Thailand. It will certainly be preferable to this country after the boy David is crowned.
  6. Were it not so laughable I would consider it an insult for someone from Thailand to call our government ‘pathetic’. OK, our government is not ‘perfect’, but ask Harry Nicolaides whether he thinks our government is ‘pathetic’ – oh no, of course, you can’t can you, because he is in prison for a mild hint of criticism (in a novel!) of the Thai royal family, or some such. In fact there are quite a few political prisoners in Thailand. Mind you, it’s difficult to say whether the Thai government is ‘pathetic’ because I’m not sure which one is in power this week. Is it the military dictatorship, the one guilty of electoral fraud, the one guilty of corruption, human rights abuses, physical intimidation and suppression of protestors and the media – who knows, it’s difficult to keep up with the changes? And one of your recent prime ministers was deemed an ‘unfit person’ to own a football club in this country – some achievement given the number which are owned by crooks and incompetents! Anyway, enjoy your football, keep educating yourself, keep an open mind and maybe you’ll find that it ain’t so bad in this country after all.
  7. I am happy to help the readers on this forum with your English - you meant 'perfect government', not 'pathetic government'.
  8. Yep, worked for Surman. Didn't it?
  9. To be pedantic, his name is not quite that long - There is no 'n' in Jordace!
  10. But not quite as gutted as you'd felt if you'd gone and when you got home found your lady had had to take your baby to the hospital, hopefully - but, hey ho, you stayed at home and she thinks you're a hero!
  11. Surely the league will be aware of that and make it the next game he is actually eligible for.
  12. Please ..... the BBC prefers 'Richard' Lambert
  13. Accepted - but actually I AM the Meldrew type of Victor.
  14. 'they both end up as a terrible partnership' - how can just one of them end up as a terrible partnership?
  15. How very dare you associate me with alpine!!!!!
  16. A little patronising - he was 32 at the time! (his Dad had strong shoulders)
  17. This post belongs with the Alia Dia suggestion. I go for Steve Williams too - got that bit of bite that would add something we could do with that just puts him ahead of David Armstrong. DA was almost a team on his own but probably did it a bit too quietly to be fully appreciated by the current side.
  18. If someone can tell me simply how to include a .jpg I have a number of photos taken of people on the route in through Bitterne and around the civic centre if you're interested -might recognise yourself.
  19. But surely, is it not us who are Nowrich?
  20. Yes, but in a nice way - I can just see our no.7 'lambesting' the opposition!
  21. You have just expressed an opinion which is reasonable, unbiased, pleasant, grammatical and slags off noone. I am reporting you to the mods and hope they ban you forthwith.
  22. If you went there, however, they neglected to teach you English - 'there is schools'!
  23. Me too!
  24. Could you also supply a definition of 'cround', please? My guess it is either a crowd once they are inside a ground, or it is a ground once it has a crowd inside. Either way, however, I'm not sure a couple of supporters constitutes a crowd.
