The DJ played mad euro-techno tunes for 90 mins before kick off & the mental Poles in the stand behind the far goal were bouncing about the entire time. Perhaps a pre-match rave is required at SMS? lol

You make the Northam the focal point t for noise: Home fans only in that stand. (Away fans down the side.) Have one drum at that end. It makes a massive difference to generating noise. Eventually introduce safe standing.

I'm in agreement with you as regards the clappers, beats the usual morgue-like silence in the ground. As we don't have any songs though I'm not sure how the big screen would help. Huddersfield put us to shame a fortnight ago. They had a decent drum in the ground though, it helps big time. Could you imagine the whining on here if someone brought one into St Mary's! lol

Our problem is our ranking is likely to be better this month (estimated 19th dependent on tonight's games) than October's which will be used for the seedings. A draw against the Germans & a win in Oslo might be enough.
