I’d make one change to that team with Gabbi instead of JWP just behind Carrillo. It won’t matter who starts though, our esteemed manager will send out an unmotivated side to play for a glorious 0-0 and we’ll lose two or three nil.

We've got 3 STs in the house and I'll be having a serious think about it. I've no problem watching us in the Championship (again) but the sheer bloody minded incompetence of the board, who are completely at odds to the views of the fan base, is a major problem for me.

Simply awful. The board knew VVD was going to be sold long before the window opened and had plenty of time to sort realistic transfer targets to strengthen the squad. Yet they end up buying a forward who started two league games in France this season and embarrassingly trying to get another deal done on the final day ffs. Given our predicament what we needed was players with Premier League experience weeks ago who could have been up and running immediately. Do they want us to go down?

If ever there was a must win six pointer it's this one. Assuming MP's not going to drastically alter his approach I can't see us winning. Another draw and another step towards Championship football for both teams.

Very sad, I loved listening to Jimmy Armfield as a match summariser. His voice was very distinctive and he was bloody good at his job.
