Can't see us bringing anyone in now tbh, imo poch has said he will stay on until the end of the season (FairPlay by the way) but will leave then. Can't see them or him wanting to bring anyone in knowing he's off at the end of the season. If we do bring anyone in I would of though he has or will sign a longer contract and stay on for a few seasons. Wishful thinking but you never know.

To be fair I won't be too bothered if we don't bring anyone in on this window, panic buys and over priced players is not a good thing. Having said that I'd be a tad worried that without some cover to some of the positions (GK,LB, CB and AM lol) then we wouldn't finish as high as we could so that may get too our better players that are linked with moves away and make a move away more likely. The better we do and higher we finish the more likely the best players will stay at least until we bring in players in the summer.

I agree with you (we won't go down) we are closer to 4th than 18th.

I've only seen him Live a couple of times but when he's on form he looks good, saw him for the 4-1 win vs Villa last season and he looked class, saw him vs Barnsley in the cup and he did ok but I'll never forgot the chance he missed after about 10 mins, 1 on 1 and put it a good 5 yards wide from 8 yards out.

Just a pointless post about us that shows he (or most probably she) has zero footballing knowledge, if he thinks they will smash us that is. They may win but they should do due to being at home and being higher up in the league.

Saw MOTD and to be fair he did look good on the highlights. That being said I'm sure even Fox has had a good game very now and then.

Maybe they were all told before the game that Luke played his last game for the club last week and that Fox will be our LB until the summer ? Or a few of them have been told they can leave in Jan and should look for a new club due to new players coming in ? Just putting it out there.

Defo, I know a guy that was on west hams books from an early age, could of made it but by the time he was 17 he's knees were Fubared, playing every day (training) and exercising to a high level is not that good for kids or young adults.

Very harsh mate, it's not like we have a load of players that are over paid and don't give a damm (QPR last season springs to mind) unfortunately we have a few injures in Key positions and the stand ins just aren't up to it, that's the managements fault for not getting replacements in the summer in.

Fox, Jos and gazza just aren't PL standard, I don't blame them for losing games as for me the management should of strengthen those positions in the summer. its a good job we have Boruc, Clyne, Shaw and Big Vic to come back, I honestly think we would of won if they were on the pitch today. You win some, you lose some.

IMO there are a few positives to take from today's game, Davis, Morgan, Lovren, Adam and Chambers look good, so in that respect its good. The others in the side did ok (jay rod, cork, lambert to a degree) but the others for me confirmed that they have had their time with the club and should be pushed or moved on. I think we all know the crack with who's good enough at this level and who's not, I'm just hoping the board / manager do too and will act in Jan. For me Fox, Jos, Gaston and Gazza are not up to standard, I'd give Osvaldo the rest of the season to see if he's going to cut it but would still like to see another striker to come in as Ricky may not feature much next season. So in Jan for me we need at least 1 quality CB, cover for Shaw as he's constantly out of the side, and we need to ship Gaston out too, he may well have a good touch and a few tricks but that doesn't matter if you give the ball away by lazy passes or getting pushed off the ball and take too long on the ball as he does. I thank them for their service but its time for them to move on, if the management don't look to replace them in Jan we may as well kiss goodbye to a top 8 finish.

Maybe, but if there's no shout from the keeper one one of the 2 defenders should be attacking the ball to clear it.
