She doesnt want a tablet, unfortunately, it has to be a laptop, and most apple products seem to be hideously expensive for what you get? Cant talk her into Windows laptops, seems to prefer style over substance! She's one of four children, the eldest actually and is a good kid apart from the apple obsession.. thing is its her 15th birthday a few days before Christmas, hence the budget of £200/300, it might not seem much of a budget to some of you, but it is what it is and im just trying to see whats the best we can get her inside that budget. To get more of an idea what she's like, we recently got her and her sister second hand iphone fours and both were grateful, not sure if thats because they dont know of the 4s or iphone5 or they're just good kids, hope its the latter but suspect its the former!

How about Powerbook g4? these seem to be around the £150 mark, is there a reason for this? ie theyre crap?

Dont use the S pen so want to swap tablets for one that gets the updates quicker, as Android updates actually IMPROVE functionality..

I had a Nexus4 and swapped it for a Note2 (straight swap) brilliant deal as the note 2 is more expensive......or so i thought, much prefer my old Nexus4, better screen, much faster, two versions of android newer... in my humble opinion the nexus is the best android on the market and a quarter of the price of the others.
