  1. Thanks for that. I'll head over there Sunday morning. Cheers.
  2. Thanks for the info too. I'll be out there as well on Sunday. Have looked online and although there's a few bars out there incl Murphy's Bar, they all seem to open at 11am; of course kick off is 1.30pm UK time which means it'll be 0830 in Orlando! Never mind, might have to see if I watch it online! Unless anyone knows of any other places?
  3. Thought we'd turned a corner and things looked positive with the move away from red/white stripes to plain red shirts. Sadly not. I know I'm in the minority but I prefer plain colours and last season's kit, although fairly generic, was an improvement on the season's before. Unfortunately, we look like a Championship side again, or at worst, Sunderland or Stoke.
  4. One 'goal' I was fortunate to witness at the Dell was this one. Unfortunately, it was ruled out. Shame, it was fantastic 'goal' though! [video=youtube_share;S9SXa55s2OM]
  5. Thanks Itchen_Dan, you're a star!
  6. Don't know if this has been posted before (I donn't think so) but saw this on Twitter just now. Completely unsubstantiated though: https://twitter.com/SaintsGirl_91/status/347357098092408833/photo/1 Can't seem to insert an image so if someone can PM me, I'll send them an image to upload. http://pic.twitter.com/z3aYabQUzN
  7. Saw this 'unsubstantiated' news today at the bottom of this article about Steve Davis: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4387392/Southampton-ready-to-table-an-interesting-offer-for-Steve-Davis.html Quite how true this is will remain to be seen...
  8. Thnx for the offers guys. Need to check something before committing at the mo. Will be in touch - cheers!
  9. Thanks guys - which thread pse?
  10. Just found out from the Saints ticket office there are no more coaches available for the Middlesborough game. Train will be v. expensive, so does anyone know of any other coach services going to the game from the Soton area on Saturday? Thanks!
  11. I checked this out the other day too (note the misspelling of Adam Lallana's name at the beginning (LLANA)!) I only realised until recently that you can use your Saints Player log in details on other clubs' 'Players'; extremely useful especially when Saints Player doesn't show any highlights until about 2 days after the match. Perhaps it might be worth creating a Sticky to let everyone know you can do this?
  12. In commemoration, I hope you don't mind me sharing this with you all once again. It seems fitting... Leboyer

  14. Yes, here's one...hopefully! Have never posted an image before so I've no idea if this'll work... https://picasaweb.google.com/richris95/SaintsVsWalsall7May2011PitchInvasionHiResImage?feat=directlink
  15. Here is a short 20 sec clip of Nigel Adkins lifting the trophy after the game...
  16. Hi, Does anyone know of any websites with a complete history of the Saints crest? There was a site - http://www.geckosaint.com/badges.htm but this has been shut down. Thanks.
  17. I posted this some time back... Inspired from our trip to Wembley I came up with this catchy one as another chant for Rickie - not as a replacement! Particularly like the resounding 'Oi' at the end. To the tune of 'The Lambeth Walk' from the musical 'Me and My girl: At St. Mary's and away Rickie puts the goals away And you'll find us all Doin' the Lambert walk...Oi!
  18. Damn 2-1 Brighton
  19. Anybody got a Blu-Ray recorder? My dad's got the game saved on his Sky HD box so I need to try and save it so I can watch it in glorious Full HD...
  20. Here's another one... This is about 5 mins and contains the crowd singing "And its all Southampton", players picking up the trophy and parading it around the ground (including the players all swinging together) and going in to the tunnel at the end.
  21. Apologies, I posted this on a new thread a few days ago but didn't know this one existed. This one's for Rickie... "THE LAMBERT WALK" Just got back from Wembley and inspired by reading a headline in the JPT programme today, here's another short song for Rickie. Given that we've just won in the capital and the music comes from a musical based in London, "Me and My Girl", I thought this was quite appropriate at the time. The tune is "The Lambeth Walk"... Verse 1 At St. Mary's and away Rickie puts the goals away And you'll find us all Doin' the Lambert walk...Oi! Verse 2 Everything's bright and breezy Makin' the goals look easy He's bound to score, now that's a cert Rickie Lam-bert Repeat.... Thoughts?
  22. Almost - Row 20. About 8 rows from the very back. Surprised I didn't get vertigo. More vids to come later on in the week as I'm off to sunny Yeovil for a few days...
  23. Here's my offering: Rickie Lambert's penalty:

  25. Is there any space for 2 more? My dad lives in Totton and I'm in Chandler's Ford i.e we're both not far from the Luzborough. Can't seem to use the PM function...
