  9. I don't think so ................below is a report by the DE LEON Crouch and Patrick Trant were the only Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC directors who did not vote in favour of SISU’s takeover plan back in the autumn of 2007. From countless hours of meetings with potential investors stretching back to 2006, the London-based hedge fund remain the only company to ever table an official bid for Saints. SISU’s plans were first discussed at a PLC board meeting at St Mary’s on October 19, 2007. Directors had been sent a letter dated three days earlier which had been written by SISU managing director Onyechinaedu Igwe outlining their plans for Saints. That letter is printed on pages 56-57. The Daily Echo has obtained a copy of the PLC board meeting minutes for October 19. The extracts below are the ones concerning the SISU proposal and subsequent discussions. Present at the PLC board meeting were: Ken Dulieu (Chairman), Jim Hone, David Jones, Lee Hoos, Leon Crouch, Patrick Trant, Andy Oldknow. Apologies: Keith Wiseman In attendance: Roger Clement, Seymour Pierce (Southampton Leisure Holdings’ financial advisors), Duncan Christison, Dickson Minto W.S. (a corporate law firm), Giuseppe Giusti, Dickson Minto W.S.
  10. I must be getting old and senile but I thought that they were very much interested in us and that it was only a couple of days away from being a done deal. then when it did fall through they turned their attention to CC
  11. breaking news on SS....................how close were we to having these clowns down at St Mary`s............how lucky are we that ML & NC had the foresight to take on our great club and improve it beyond recognition and bring it back to the premiership a much improved and ambitious club.
  12. hahaha in reply to the question above that stupid system let me log on again and buy a 3rd ticket even though I only have 2 season tickets
  13. got mine but what a stupid system.......... potentially would let me buy 3 tickets per season ticket........never tried to buy more do you think it would work???? also online the tickets defaulted to U16 season ticket holder you had to make sure that you changed it yourself otherwise you would of ended up with the wrong type of ticket......just as a point of interest when will the loyalty points system come into play???
  14. the clue is in the name SUPPORTers...there are a few on here that are neither Saints fans or supporters............ I did not travel 400 miles through horrendous conditions yesterday to sit on my hands moaning all day about the tactics, substitutions, and the home shirt not having any bl00dy white stripes!!!!! I just wish that some on here would grow some or feck off down the road with the s****s!!!! making this game related we did have more possession we did have the territorial advantage we did have the most shots on target we did have the most shots off target we did come away with a well deserved point
  15. i would be a lot concerned if we were not dominating teams. we are creating we are dominating we are not taking our chances we will turn this around we will score a shed load we WILL survive only real negative is mp left his final sub too late JP should of been on earlier why don't you bunch of bedwetters try supporting your team for a change.
  16. H man city 0 points A Frenchcastle 0 points H QPR 3 points A Norwich 1 point H Liverpool 1 points H Chelsea 0 points A Reading 3 points H West Ham 3 points A Swansea 0 points H West Brom 3 points A Spurs 0 points A Sunderland 1 point H Stoke 3 points total of 42 points in my opinion this will easily be enough to keep us up
  17. Nick I was just trying to put into perspective what the ramifications of drawing away to our relegation rivals was. I never put the list together or adjusted it as I went along, I just put the points total down per game as I honestly thought it may go. as it happens if this were to be true we would have more than enough to stay up. I honestly believe that we are the best team in the bottom six and although at times things may not always go our way we will have enough to survive. what I am not a great fan of is people taking a single result and saying that our season is over or that we deffo are getting relegated. I don't know about you but come what may I have thoroughly enjoyed this season, being back in the top flight, watching every game that I cannot get to on a stream. ok so Adkins may of been a victim of his own success because I think that if we had not grown into a very competitive team as the season went on and had really struggled at the foot of the table where there was never going to be a chance of us surviving then Adkins would of stayed because without doubt he would of been the best person possible to bring us straight back up. I just wish some of the negative posters and bed wetter's on here would just enjoy the ride rather then be so intent on inflicting their negative drivel on us constantly.
