It's worse than we thought. http://www.chichester.co.uk/community/columnists/pompey-need-to-score-first-1-4743636

Is that WITH Harry's add-ons?
-
Well here it is...the definitive answer! NOBODY KNOWS! OK onto the easy stuff...What's the meaning of life?
-
How about starting...Coutinho transfer back in the melting pot...denies Liverpool preference.
-
You may laugh but I'm betting Goal.com will have picked-up on that and will be running with it within the hour.

Well let's hope were making the bid on the strength of something more than a YouTube video. -
Huge huge mistake! Absolutely GUTTED.

Plenty of tutorials, from basic to complex on YouTube. If you're a keen amateur photographer it's a must have.

The honours system is cracked. Honours and respect should be given to those who give their TIME (the most valuable commodity you have to give) for the benefit of others for little or no monetary reward. IMHO.

I couldn't agree more. I read this thread and know that all is well in the world! This thread is peopled by those whose outlook on life is one of blue skies, rainbows and fluffy puppies. Always brings a smile to my face.

Ron Davies. Top scorer in the top division two seasons in a row...he kept us there when we didn't have a defence. Fantastic deal at £55,000 even in those days. Best header of a football I've ever seen...no modern footballer comes near in the air.

Typical...just when you think the 10 point deduction is a nailed on cert...they go and get liquidated. Cheatin' bastards.

What did the Snooze Laureate say...no don't bother, I got the idea after the first couple of lines. After that I had to relieve myself from both ends... nauseating.

With the assets we had over the relatively small amount of debt most Saints supporters, (super-optimist me included) thought something was bound to turn up at crunch time. Yes we did nothing but I when a friend put to me the suggestion that the next season we could be playing Eastleigh in their league and not just a pre-season friendly...I said I'd be there. I've been a supporter for as long as I can remember, late 50s to the present day and a STH for 35 years but it's not the sole thing in my life...how sad would that be if it were. I love my club...wherever it is or at whatever level, I'll be there. Ask me for a £1000 though?...no way and I CAN afford it.

You've obviously put a lot of thought into this...NOT!!
-
This is really embarrassing for them...I'm reliably informed they'd reserved two tables for the event.
-
I expect all the creditors were chuckling along with that one too.
-
Ah are we being a little previous here? They've only been named the preferred bidder not the new owners. We know all about preferred bidders at this end of the M27. However I know most of you here will be with me when I say I sincerely hope their bid is successful.

I watched it from the Red Bull website stream and the build up of tension was brilliant...the commentary wasn't too intrusive either. All those little doubts that were thrown into the mix...was his visor heater working properly...was he going to get into an uncontrollable spin...would his body stand up to the stresses. The first part of the free-fall where all you could hear was the sound of his rapid breathing was pure theatre and then to see him spinning uncontrollably...I think my resperation rate was matching his. Brilliant piece of drama in real-time. Thanks for posting the original link Bexy.

I'm making myself comfortable...could be an interesting day.

If those figures are accurate it not only shows how far away the PST are/were from taking over the club but how far away any other bidder for the club are too. I can't see anyone else stumping up that sort of money to restore the basketcase. Sniff, is that something burning?

6 Music for me. Mixture of old and new, live studio sessions, without resorting to the sh** dished out by Radio 1 and the corn dished out by Radio 2. If you're a serious Muso it's about the only station that treats you like an adult, unless you want a laugh and then you've got Radcliife and Macone in the afternoon.

Mr. Cala said, "we are looking to secure the long-term future of the club" standing in front of a smoking Mnt St Helens.

Haha, I didn't say he was a good keeper, just that from my recollections of the game (I was in the Chocolate Boxes) and the Football Echo report give him a good write-up. Back on topic. David Webb used to stand at the player entrance to the pitch and shake all the player's hands as they came off the pitch at the end of the game. As unusual then as it is now.

As I remember he played a blinder (excuse the pun) that game despite picking the ball out of the net 9 times. He was the only reason they didn't concede 15.
