I'm not going to Glastonbury but I always religiously tune into the BBC blanket coverage. This was one of the highlights from last year...just musically and visually stunning. Don't know if anything will come close this year.

Someone last week reminded me of an amazing slice of Americana so I had a look on YouTube to see if I could find it. Brit Elliot Bristow, began a 12 year road trip around America in 1968 during which he captured over 75 hours of Super 8 footage. Some of you older readers may have seen Elliot's footage, which was aired on Channel 4 in the late 80's / early 90's in 'Road Dreams.' There were 6 x 25 minute episodes of which I've included the first here. I can understand that and sympathise. It's just the people who can afford it and don't have the guts for a fight...for most real supporters of all but the top 4 clubs success will always be tough going. If it's too tough for you'd be better off as a top 4 plastic.

I can't stand the hypocrisy of some here who claim to be lifelong supporters and regular season ticket holders who won't be renewing because of the attitude of manager and players who've decided to cash-in on a successful season. Just like the manager and players they're withdrawing their support for financial gain...well done! Enjoy your windfall, while real supporters try to make up for your absence.

Yep happened to me too...found myself blubbing like a baby watching Matt watching his goal compilation at the end of his testimonial and I'm welling up as I write. 3 of the best...we were privileged to witness their massive contributions.
