Good assist from SRL...he might even get in 90 minutes this season
-
Don't mock...Burton will get bumper crowds when they're home to the division's big boys.
-
Did you see when the crowd were lifted out of their seats in the second half !! Yep that's right...the Mexican Wave. The highlight for me.
-
Agree...shameful omission IMO.

Don't panic...the loan window opens on the 9th.

Gaston Ramiez to Hull on Season Long Loan - Official

I think it's a well thought out move on our part. Let's seen if he can keep fit and play an influential part in a well run team without having to suffer the frustrations that have been part of his time with us. If he proves to have what it takes, at the end of the loan we have an asset that has increased in value, we can utilise or sell on without having had to accomodate him in an already very competitive Saints mid-field. -
Thanks for your input...stay classy.
-
Recapturing his form will also be reliant on getting his head straight too. ACL's usually happen when you feel at your strongest and often occur in innocuous looking incidents...it remains in the back of your mind for a long time.

Damn...get it sorted quickly. I have a table booked for a curry early tomorrow evening.

What a wonderful insight...perhaps you can conduct a personal interview with each and every one of them to determine their rights to be a Saint's fan. I sit in the Chapel Stand behind the goal and have done since St Mary's opened. A large group of us transferred our block from where we sat in The Milton End at the Dell to the new ground so we would stay together. FYI none of us were involved in the so call goading of Artur...in fact IMO the goading was by a small handful of idiots and no way indicative of the attitude shown by Chapel fans in general on that day.

The Primitives...fluffy feel-good pop.

Deliberate or Glenn Cockerill Special ?

A training ground special in a live game...I loved it. -
The video version has Brian on vocals, (from the Smile sessions) but I have to say I prefer the album version with Carl on vocals as it was the one I grew up with.
-
But as a single track "Surfs Up" itself is IMO at the pinnacle of everything they ever did..."Columnated ruins domino" indeed. Off topic but what the heck.

Jeez there's one for the three in a row thread... Tell Me Why/After The Gold Rush/Only Love Can Break Your Heart or Only Love Can Break Your Heart/Southern Man/Till The Morning Comes or Don't Let It Bring You Down/Birds/When You Dance I Can Really Love. I played that album every day for more than a year 1970/71.

Yeah sorry I wasn't having a pop at you...I just missed your opening comment and plunged straight into one of my pet hate rants. -
Why...what did he say? Can't understand why more people don't use the IGNORE OPTION.

Is it just me or does anyone else find music "Best of" list ridiculous. As if elements of music can be dissected, rated and put in order of merit. Let's face it the last time you agreed with any of it was when someone placed your personal favourite in the top 10...and then you're left wondering what they were thinking of when they place the other 9 s**t albums above your choice. -
OK... Stop Making Sense - Talking Heads Live at the Fillmore - Allman Brothers Nighthawks at The Diner - Tom Waits Shadows & Light - Joni Mitchell Last Waltz - The Band In no particular order.

A few photos of the Dell and one or two faces you might know.

Ahh such a pure and uncorrupted footballing era we grew up in ...as long as you turned a blind eye to Tommy Traynor's betting irregularities and George Kirby's physical assaults on goalkeepers. -
Blue Eyed Soul from 1976...a good year. Hall & Oates had a great back four. Forget preconception this album "War Babies" was produced by Todd Rundgren
