Is Djuricic any sort of upgrade on Ramirez who will return in the summer? Would ratherwe went for Matt Phillips when QPR go down as a winger option. Toby would be immense but unlikely as stated above. Can Gardos make the step up after a season getting used to the prem? If not then a CB will be a priority.

No Chance of Long being fit for this then? Thought 5 weeks was the prognosis when he got injured on Jan 24th. Liverpool game would be 4 weeks later so maybe a possible if his recovery is ahead of schedule?

Was thinking this morning about how Spurs fans are so excited about having Harry Kane as "one of their own". Of the academy players Saints have produced, are there any who would consider themselves die-hard Saints fans? I think Matt Targett said in an interview recently that he was a Saints fan and McCarthy here says he's a local lad. It's the "supported them as a lad factor" that I think will lead to Kane staying at Spurs for at least another couple of seasons before a move to a bigger club and may also help Saints retain the academy players that we bring through for longer.
