I wonder what odds you could get on Liverpool's back four being Clyne, Virgil, Lovren and Bertrand for the opening game of the 2017/18 season?
-
He could always turn to David Pleat for advice

Didn't Best get a hat trick?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think that was the shirt swapping game
-
Why are they getting excited, I thought they preferred the proper football down in that league
-
Slightly off topic but worthy of a mention I feel is the opening sentance in last Thursday's News. The front page headline story was about a serial fly tipper who, according to the News, 'had blighted many beauty spots across Portsmouth'. If any English students ever needed an example of the perfect oxymoron.......

I was at this game, it was a cracker I think, sure that's Rednapp scurrying down the wing for them
-
I think 21,400 is probably more than they will ever have again at any home match
-
I would say she either plays or stand on the side and watch
-
I had uncles and a granddad who worked in the docks and one of them was actually involved in the skirmishes, I saw him on late night Southern news or whatever it was in those days actively involved.
-
Absolutely, totally agree with this

It does make me laugh that in the comments builder Terry Clark gets slated, no mention of the alleged £55,000ish that he never got paid for building work he did on the ground.

...a team which deserves to be in the Premier League ?
mickn replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Off the top of my head the team was Sprake, Reaney, Cooper, Bremner, Charlton, Hunter, Lorimer, Clarke, Jones, Giles and Gray. Paul Madeley was also a really versatile player who was in and out of the side. They might have been nasty but they were also very good footballers. Eddie Gray was unplayable at times. -
Sarisbury Primary Prices Grammar School Fareham Prices College The grammar school was a traditional boys only school uniform, caps, Latin etc type in a PO postcode, ie Fareham. Went there from about 1969 to 1977 and yes, did get loads of stick for being a Saints fan. Steve Moran was 2 years younger than me and went there too.

Well I chuckled to myself

I thought Davis signed an extension a few weeks ago -
Why would we have a picture of Kirk from Coronation Street on our shirts?

When I saw the replay of that goal I immediately said to my nipper that I thought it looked more like an own goal -
I'm pretty sure that is not him
-
Quite incredible really, I had 2 people behind me in the Itchen North slating him the whole first half and repeatedly saying he was sh*t. I had to correct them in the end only to be told he's 'only a centre mid, nothing more'. I then pointed out his vision and quality of pass for our second goal only to be met with 'That wasn't Long then', 'no' I replied, 'watch it tonight'

Have to agree with this, he seemed everywhere, such a fantastic tidy player, no whinging, no moaning just does his job brilliantly week in week out

That is another great looking car. The prices for old Mustangs seem to be going through the roof at the moment.

That is absolutely beautiful imo, I love old American cars. I have a 1973 Corvette convertible, it fits snugly in the garage, most things I really would like are too big.
