  1. Just in case somebody is as lazy as me : http://subscriptions.thismonkey.com/fixtures/football/calendars/eng/2012/index.html
  2. I just saw the Pompey flag...
  3. But it's a difference if you do some nail biting due to a match or not knowing what a kit might look like...
  4. I love those kit threads going on every year 20 something pages of rage, speculation, nail biting and being upset about something you don't know or can't change anyway... Save your energy and start the rant when we know how the kit will look like ! I'd love to get my hands on a Prem kit, but if I don't like it, I won't buy it. Simples...
  5. Reading away
  6. Am I watching the wrong Euro's, then ? Ukraine - Sweden, Poland - Russia and Czech - Russia have been OK, the rest was pretty boring...
  7. Well. I'm just so glad I switched from Windows to Apple and I've never regretted it...
  8. I'm sorry to say, but Germany executes its youth development and it shows. They had an awful squad with the "old generations" from 1998 to 2006, but they've good a pretty young, offensive squad that plays really good football now. But I think it probably is a problem as well that in most "big" Premier League clubs the most important players are foreigners. Look at Bayern Munich or Dortmund with Hummels, Goetze, Ozil (before his move), Mueller, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Badstuber and so on - most of the German squad are the important players in their clubs as well...
  9. He just seems to walk into other people's fists and nowhere else...
  10. HERE they say Saints' second friendly will see them take on Ligue 1 outfit Évian Thonon Gaillard FC at the Stade Joseph-Moynat on Saturday 21st July, with the fixture kicking off at 7pm local time. And the Stade Joseph Moynat 100% is their old, small ground. I've been there before... Stade Joseph-Moynat is a multi-use stadium in Thonon-les-Bains, France. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Croix de Savoie Gaillard. The stadium is able to hold 6,000 people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stade_Joseph-Moynat
  11. Just wanted to let you know as you wrote "Really hoping it will be a bigger team/ground like Lyon/Marseille." I've been there quite a while ago an it's even on their Wikipedia entry : "Evian formerly played its home matches at the Stade Joseph-Moynat in the club's hometown, but moved to the Parc des Sports in nearby Annecy for the 2010–11 season as the Joseph-Moynat did not meet the Ligue de Football Professionnel's standards. The Parc des Sports will serve as a temporary stadium for the club, while the club contemplates building a new facility or renovating the Stade Joseph-Moynat." On the Saints' homepage they say they will be playing at their old ground, which holds 6.000 approx and looks like this :
  12. You just can add the changes made by other users for free. Sometimes they are helpful, sometimes they are not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. @ Orange : You'll be dissapointed, then. They already had to move after being promoted as their own ground did not meet French first division regulations. I might be there as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Why don't we all give it a rest, wait until it is officially released and THEN run amok again, when we all know what the shirt really looks like ?
  15. I'm a little bit scared it goes that easy in the UK. Club crest + colours are a clubs identity. Change it and it's a different club in my eyes. I wouldn't be following "Blue Saints", sorry...
  16. I did !
  17. Even more important to me is how the kit's going to be cut. I don't wan't to squeeze my belly into one of those modern body / slim cut kits... Can't stand those even at people who can allow themselves to wear them...
  18. Those guys might have a different look to the value of life...
  19. Go to Fortuna - Moenchengladbach instead. It's fierce rivalry and they haven't played each other in ages.
  20. I was actually there as it is Fortuna Duesseldorf I am following over here...
  21. I do live in Germany and follow a club for over 20 years now. There's a problem with violence, e.g. car chases on the Autobahn, Ultra movement becoming more violent, trying to steal scarves and banners from each other and things like that. The Secretary of the Interior is even publicly demanding removing standing from the stadiums and raising ticket prices. Does that sound familiar ? Plus media hyping every outbreak of violence to the maximum. It's just a question of time - and I think it might be 5-6 years - before Taylor report measures will hit Germany as well. Sorry if it was too off-topic.
  22. That might be true, but swastika banners and crossed out stars of David might speak for themselves... Football in Ukraine + Poland has got a right wight / racist problem and everybody knows. Their hardcore fans are even proud about it. Just one reason not to play the EC there in the first place...
  23. There's a lot of stuff happening in Germany in different leagues currently, but I may lack expertise to give a proper comparison.
