so unenthusiastic about this season based on these first few games...we really were spoilt with NA, MP and RKs (to some extent) attacking play. "The Southampton Way" used to be tied in to a style of play that was exciting to watch, now it has become marketing sh*t used to puff out our feathers.

You lot really don't appreciate FF and it is getting kind of embarrassing to keep reading it. He is a top goalkeeper and we are lucky to have him...form is temporary class is permanent.

Really? Seems surprising he would do that.

Without penetration it is boring to watch. All the most beautiful passes left to right and backwards to the back four don't get the fans on their feet and make it interesting...it is those darting runs and slicing through balls and the possibility of a goal that makes good viewing...after all we are there to try and win the game and that has to be done by scoring goals. All we do is foreplay, no penetration and ultimately we are just left feeling agitated with blue balls.

Shower of s**t up-front. Diabolical. Couldn't score with a million pounds in a debt ridden backstreet brothel. Maybe they could put a movie on the on the screens for the next home game so the fans get something to see for the ticket price?

This brand of football is so so so dull. We were spoilt by Adkins and Poch and Koeman at least kept the goals coming even with slightly less pretty football...having been spoilt in recent years this is hard to watch.
