  1. Can someone recommend some good away pubs for West Brom please? Any near The Hawthorns train station or ground?
  2. Thought Henry was a fairly weak pundit at World Cup. Maybe Sky can draw him out, I don't know. TV is obsessed with getting 'name' players in rather than professional journos, who are becoming a dying breed on TV., cricket too.Totally agree with Neville/Carra praise though. Quality.
  3. Club automated service says coach picks up at Chievely Services for Newcastle game - I live in Worcester - anyone know if coach can pick up nearer to West Midlands or not? Train travel is an absurd £120 from Worcester - tickets only went on general sale recently so couldn't buy advance fare. If no pick up, does anyone live in the West Midlands who's driving and would be willing to share petrol? Cheers, Bertie.
  4. Sure, but doesn't make it right from both clubs if so. I'm sick of being ripped off, but mug that I am, I'm paying it and going. And while that happens, they'll charge what they want.
  5. Default Villa selling their adult tickets from £25 - how is that possibly right when they're fleecing us for £41 for a Mon night TV game?
  6. Villa selling adult tickets from £25 - how is that possibly right when they're fleecing us for £41 for a Mon night TV game?
  7. Villa might want to think about the 10,000 empty seats they had on Sunday. This game is local to me and I really want to go, but £41 is outrageous. Prices like that will drive real fans - Villa and Saints - away. Anyone remember Monday night Baggies/Saints game two years ago? £15 and a virtual sell out. Sort it out Villa.
  8. I paid £15 a couple of years back for Baggies v Saints on a Monday night. Villa charging £41 is a joke - no wonder there were swathes of empty seats at Villa Park yesterday. Morihno's got a point when he complains of lack of atmosphere - sky high ticket prices are deterring real fans. Any chance of Villa budging on this? Unlikely I know.
  9. Anyone know of any places in Birmingham or near Worcester - where I live - that Saints fans go to? Cheers.
  10. I was at Fulham on Boxing Day - anyone know the music they played before running out? It was powerful. How about 'Thunderstruck' for us as well as 'The Saints...'
  11. Followed it by text from Detroit - come on Saints! Nobody would have given us a hope. How many goals do we concede just before half time?
  12. Not 'wilderness' years, but losing 5-2 away to Watford in League Cup on a wet Tuesday night was grim. It heralded things to come.
  13. I couldn't get through to TO for Sat, so will anyone be around in Taunton to watch the game?
  14. I can't think about anything else - even Messi missing that penalty against Chelsea just now only temporarily took my mind of Sat. I couldn't get through this morning for ticket - will be in Taunton - anyone around to watch it?
  15. Is anyone planning to watch the game in a pub in Oxford? I've just rung Wahoo near train station and they say they will try to put it on. QPR-Spurs is on at same time too, so they might show both. Or does anyone have any other ideas?
  16. Any tickets left?
  17. Anyone else think the crush at half time was bordering on dangerous? And it was only because someone in front of me unilaterally opened a gate at full time that stopped even more pushing. Great ground once in the stands, but the 'concourse'...
