errr... field of dreams?
-
but my point was that it's a two horse race, with one winner, the coalition. i don't think repercussions will be massive, its a tight seat, always has been, and without a massive swing it's just noise. what massive consequences do you think there will be? and for the party leaders......?
-
yep, only thing on here i recognize. this place makes me feel so young.
-
nipper needs a slap and the china comment, lulz
-
does performance include result, coz 2nd half at united was pretty amazing. real won;t even be that dominating next week
-
there's only going to be one outcome though, the coalition win a seat.

Most important player signing of past 3.5 years?
JPTCount replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
lambert contract renewals count...? may as well just ask "who's been the most important player..." -
watched most of it last night, the thing is a beast! these were the two stand out bits for me [video=youtube;TYY-J3ckeSI] the other trailers all looked superb, maybe if there were a few too many dragons. watchdogs looks nuts!

the new sony tablet z is pretty ****ing beautiful! and the bravia engine they use for video ****es on anything else out there. from here i can only see apple go back to their mid nineties place in the industry, for the graphic designers etc. and the apple enthusiasts. most mobile devices will be android, and any small home computer or console will be on chrome os or a similar open source linux os, and windows will keep rolling along with the largest market share because everyone else has it and everyone you employ is (just about) trained on it.
-
chromebooks ftw apple have fallen off hard in the last year, design, build quality and market share are all on the slide, saw one of the new all in ones where the screen was in place with glue
-
or download the "AdBlock" extension for chrome, and it stops them all, forever.

its the pipes, not the beer
-
its the same principle behind pre club drinking, get ****ed at home/spoons on cheap booze so you don;t have to spend money on expensive drinks inside. whereas here the problem is time, not money. same result ensues. i havn't drunk in a stadium for years, the pipes are horrible, and i prefer charlie anyway, plus i can go a full day without a fag so not smoking doesn't bother me. actually the ban improved the stadium imo, was crazy u couldnt smoke in your seat but were allowed to smoke inside. i'd just rather have the choice, just because some louts ruined it years ago we all suffer now, same with ASH sticking their nose in everywhere. the idea that you can drink at half time and not in the stands goes against the governments anti binge drinking culture
-
as it stands now the drinkers will fill up with as much alcohol before the game, then try and neck a pint and a half in 15 minutes at half time. if i go to the pub and watch a game i'll have maybe 3 or 4 pints spread over the course of 2 or so hours, whereas at the stadium i tend to neck two pints in about 40 minutes before hand an another at half time in 10-15. it's just forcing ppl to get more drunk quicker. also we should have a small outer ring of fencing round the ground, like reading or twickenham for example, to allow smokers to go out. was so ****ed off at wembley when i couldn't have a fag on the massive balcony off the third tier! middle of the summer too, stuck in a low ceiling room with 2000 sweaty northerners.

good luck to him, hopefully he can get a good string of games together and compete in pre season training. from what we saw last year it's a real shame he wasn't fit at the start of the season.

Relegation Battle - The Opposition's view
JPTCount replied to georgeweahscousin's topic in The Saints
bah, coloured text again... -
why doesn't this logic apply to us then? reading can get fans from the midlands but everton can't even get 10% of liverpool to come? amazes me where all these reading fans would come from in reality, we took 55'000 to Wembley the real truth about attendance is success, and prolonged success, not catchment area. two of the biggest selling clubs every fort night compete for the same fans, in the same catchment area... and the percentage figure is inaccurate, we have never, ever sold out, we all see the massive block of seats in northam empty every single game. if we take our attendance as our highest ever attendance in EPL its 32,151, and our number moves up to 94.6% and into joint 13th i also remember a game against bayern munich, the club ****ed up on demand and there weren't enough seats to go round, we were escorted round the pitch to go and sit behind Herr Khan. if the opposition are there we will fill the stadium, i've been to so many chelsea games where that top tier is empty, but they will be packed for the big games. if you build it, they will come
