  1. bad sample data boruc, yoshi were also late transfers. how early/late was Forren? the timing of the transfer isn't the variable, it is the player.....
  2. wow, we have some moronic fans he sells for like £25-40m by 2016 in FM
  3. seriously, have ppl only just discovered /facepalm
  4. Now i don;t know for sure, but surely an ISP block is not a location block. The proxy works because your not going through that site address, which would be on a blacklist with ur isp. As apposed to hulu/iplayer which u have to get a location specific proxy to bounce through, fooling the site into thinking u are in that country. just a guess, but i can't imagine they work the same way
  5. the whole system is ****ed, logically i stream first row through a sky connection but its the premier league who has to force a law through to make sky block it... also, legitimate companies sponsor illegal sites through ad revenue. where there's a will there's a way, and its only come about because these games are being broadcast live worldwide by the premier league. until the premier league provide a service where people can legitimately pay to watch every game this will continue to happen. it probably won't have any effect because the firstrow.eu isn't the site the streams are on, it just redirects you somewhere else, currently its firstrowuk.eu for me, and its been under all sorts of variations and locations over the past year. will this block the desktop app too...?
  6. don't worry, it'll click eventually. u'll kick urself when it does.
  7. cool beans for NC, i heard this was named after you
  8. will never forget the moment he put us 1-0 up against united, I was in a pub in manchester at the time. great finish too.
  9. according to some badly translated italian articles it seems the faltering with napoli is that there is an issue with his image rights/personal sponser

  11. Crouch - bought for £2.5m, 12 in 27, sold for £7m Beattie - came in valued at £1m as part of the £7m who received for Kevin Davis, scored 68 in 204, sold for £6m both value for money imo, and provided a good return on investment too
  12. wish him all the best, he did a job for us, kept us ticking over in the first half of the champ imo. favorite moment was against preston in the league cup a couple of years ago. he just loved kicking his old team mates. funny ****er too.
  13. evidence of hassle?
  14. if our transfer policy is that we only add players of a higher quality to the ones we have, why would we pay for a better left back than shaw to make one of them sit on the bench? apart from mayuka, and possibly lee, all of our new signings in the last two years have more or less walked into the squad, only lee and mayuka spring to mind and both are technically gifted, just haven't forced their way into the starting line up who is better than fox at cover, but at the same time not as good as shaw, and willing to sit on the bench for most of the season?
  15. story also posted on football365, and Fox within minutes of each other. It could be good communication, or an easy way of altering odds...
  16. nice post amazed to see we didn't have stripes from 80-89. I know everyone harks on about rank xerox but what was the general fan opinion in September '80? people dismayed by decision yet shirt still sells record numbers?
  17. the current squad could probably empty more than 10k out their wallets in a quick whip round
  18. everyone's an individual until the become a fan i have heard loads of fellow saints fans say the most stupid things in my time, best has to be two lads banging n about Hammil sitting o the bench. I mean he was a promising youngster but not our only hope as they saw it. When he came on the first thing he did was stand on the ball, loved it. lol
  19. this is the answer, but not justrestricted to android users.... just needs a google account and you can sync the calender on iOS, pretty much everything that google does for android works on iOS too
  20. go to bbc.co.uk/iplayer, click on radio, click on no thanks
  21. i would suggest buying an 3/4yo android phone of a mate, putting in a 32/64GB card and using that, with all the comms tech turned off they last for hours, (my old xperia arc has done 30 days on standby with a few hours use as a media remote), would also mean u could watch movies on it too, and have an internet/phone connection when needed/if wanted. you'd also get better peace of mind knowing it wont fall apart on the flight out
  22. Can't you just use an old school 3.5mm lead, either with left & right, or just a 1-1 connection. Most new sound systems have a hole somewhere on the front labelled MP3, or plug it into one of the AUX channels on the back.
  23. Only teasing, but as polaroid said, the biggest hindrance to business these days is an out of date managers in IT. So many are stuck in their ways, and won't upgrade to newer systems because it would cut down on the workload, and money, available. Also tend not to think about the user, rather the principles and jargon behind it. It's like HTML, a useful skill but less people need to know it now than ever, websites can be created and managed by an admin team. The same applies to a number of other skillsets in IT, but it's easy for those in IT to convince the norms that they are the only ones able to do the job. Or even create systems only they understand, preventing any handover without consent. I bet your still running your mail through MS Exchange on site, and have to keep everyone on IE8 because of some internal web based system that would need replacing, and retraining staff on.... Google Apps all the way
  24. academic snobbery qualifications do not equal intelligence, just as drawing skills do not define creativeness “Everything I know about morality and the obligations of men, I owe it to football.”
