ahh 1833, those were the days. although it was a hundred years before any of my family lived in the UK. but I feel u can be British and not support ideals like this. and no I don't buy apple products, and I make an effort not to buy stuff that's been produced in certain countries, although it's hard these days. but other than that ur defence of slave labour is pretty flawless. although in real terms money is worth more than thousands of Indian lives so in ur shoes I'd think differently too.
-
mmmm, I love visiting countries that build awe inspiring buildings using slave labour. it's just like the good old days before human rights were invented. make sure u catch stoning while ur there, best thing is she was probably innocent.

thats what the in laws told me, they live nearby. i don't go north of chalk farm.

coventry are a better model for us compared with bolton or reading. It's built on a junction just off the M6, and much newer, they are building a station next to the ground (should be open for the olympics...) and already have a hotel, casino, bar and restaurant, car showrooms, a costa, and **** loads of parking. and it's built next to a **** off tesco. i prefer inner city grounds but ours isn't connected well at all, the station is 15 mins away and parking is a nightmare. doesn't help that Southampton is congested to **** anyway, and there's always some ***** trying to overtake you on the avenue or thomas lewis way. i hate driving in southampton , much more than london.

ye, I figured we brought him in for cover, but corks pretty versatile and Holmes could have been recalled, and it's odd he only got 45 mins 1st team action. I also don't remember us chasing any attacking midfielders in January, given the clubs aim of only buying players that are better than current squad members. I mean we had £7m turned down for Hooper, but no other real bids. and we only spent £1.8m in the end. and I'm sure spurs dont get anything out of it, wouldn't be surprised if we buy him but only if they keep hold of bale and modric this summer
-
why did we bother getting him on loan? and if he wasn't good enough to get in the team why didn't we terminate his contract? he made a lot of appearances in our 'reserve' team tho, can't see any sense in this unless we buy him as a long term prospect. if not it's the oddest thing NA and NC have done by a long way. Thoughts...?

yes it's part of the game, but how is it vital? I'd say fair play is vital, but without new technologies the cheats will continue to get away with it.

one hippo went berserk, and had to be escorted off the premises

all the premium games are televised, somewhere in the world. and if it's being broadcast somewhere u can get a stream online. the last 6 or 7 if our games were all televised.

this notion of a working man's game is lolz central, we don't even have a working class anymore and fyi being a chav doesn't make u working class, doing grunt work in heavy industry does

just seen ur location, and wow, u know racism isn't cool hombre?

on reflection this is very interesting, the stadium and the gas towers seem to be left out because the council couldn't put a time frame on us being promoted and our stadium expansion, and the fact that it won't be ready till 2020 suggests it won't be done until a new stadium is announced, maybe do it all together or the waterfront soon after. wud be great to have a saints village like other some other grounds. I'm a firm believer that stadiums dont create real jobs unless there's a large full time business attached to it.
-
we can't succeed unless we buy 3 more asians really, and one has to be chinese. do u think city wud be where they are now if they hadn't bought sun jihai a few years back?
-
good find, will make the stadium look much better without being adjacent to a massive pile of stones I wonder who the appointed 'prefered developer' is? ;-)
-
Asian fans follow players not clubs, who's to say that our presence out there won't spark 'Adam Wawanna' fever?
-
there's a big difference between really believing we are going to ease on up to the top four, and just hoping this club can build on what it's done in the last 3 years. the hope that we will be a mid table team like we were 10 years ago is boring as ****, we are Southampton, we're avoiding relegation
-
but the reality hasn't come to fruition yet

pes·si·mism (ps-mzm) n. 1. A tendency to stress the negative or unfavorable or to take the gloomiest possible view.

i wonder what tragic event(s) in life have made you so negative? have some faith, spending years in the premiership aiming for 17th was pathetic, remember when we got to an FA cup final and finished 8th, i think we we in 5th at one point that season? and that was without the pompey financial structure, or huge commercial income, it was down to a half decent team, with some yutes, who played some good football so why can't u be positive? we're back in the top flight, we have a great squad and coaching staff, a solid financial structure, and a don in charge of the club
