not really the point, i don't care about the nippers, that was just a comment. the point is the poor management of the west quay store, and whether they've changed the facilities, or policy, in the shop. its just hassle if u mission down there and then find out they don't print names, happened to me earlier this year when i was on the high street, i thought i'd buy a shirt on a whim, but didn't bother coz they could only sell me a blank one. fair enough not to have the printing press, but not to have a pile of lambert and lallana shirts pre printed seems foolish
-
so the shirts go on sale at west quay on Saturday... but will it only be blank shirts? coz they dont do name printing there, and they dont even keep a pile of pre printed shirts of the squad there. could turn out to be quite a disappointment for a few nippers

I dont care about a record, he scored alot of goals and we got promoted. wot ppl call it, it's the endless discussion, correction and idea that because it changed name or sponsor it's a new competition that bothers me. on the most part u know what they mean tho, dont you? and fair @ op, I thought he was above average at spurs for an on/off striker, he's no rebrov, or marlet.
-
he's wasn't as **** as ur making out, he was ok at spurs, went to Boro and got fat. just checked his career stats and his league appearance:goal ratio is 2:1 how was ur football career btw? and how does every other thread on here get sidetracked into wot the leagues are called and the subtle differences between premiership and premier league. if I call a dog a cat, it's still a ****ing dog!

Our Future? Stadium Expansion Proposal on Season Ticket DVD
JPTCount replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Do correct me if I'm wrong, but surely this is only a view of the future and NC's ambition for the club. I know u all have valid points about who's a bigger club, and y this won't ever happen, but I'm pretty sure NC has better business sense than all of u put together, and again, this is only an example of his hopes and dreams for the club. it's not about who's bigger or club comparison, it's about his ambition for the club, and football not about catchment area, money or sexy fans, its about results, if we dont get the results then NC won't expand the stadium. wots there to debate about? just take it as it is and be happy that he's not Lowe. I'm pretty glad a fan consortium never took over the club, as nothing would get done through all the *****ing, season ticket waving and fashion shows -
thanks, but we aren't all guardian readers, so wots the clue...

I was expecting one of those sketches of players ppl went mad for in the nineties but our program is missing a comic these days, we used to have one when we were at the Dell, called norm and something... I was too young to get the the jokes back then tho, or maybe it just wasn't funny

Our Future? Stadium Expansion Proposal on Season Ticket DVD
JPTCount replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
ye they do, but they don't matter as much if it's epl football, if we were still in the championship then ur argument might hold more but i know i'd rather spend £50 and watch premiership football on a rainy mid week evening in december, than pay £25 and watch league 1 i agree there's no point doing it now, plus there's so much to do, and if we are back in league 1 in 3 years then they won't do it, but it is just a vision for the future, this is nothing concrete, and i'm sure it won't all be done at once. if we stay in the epl this season, and sell out 90% of games, maybe we can hope for a an extra 4-8k in time for the rugby world cup -
Our Future? Stadium Expansion Proposal on Season Ticket DVD
JPTCount replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
surely the biggest factor would be the division we are in, I think there's enough evidence to suggest that the lower the league the lower the attendance. watching us play mk dons is less of a draw than watching us play city, I cant even name a dons player. although if something extravagant were too were to happen while we were in a lower league, like getting utd in the cup, an epl promotion party, or a trip to Wembley, I'm sure we could sell 32k+ tickets. and imo if we were a top 10 club in the epl, we could attract 40k+ regardless of whether it's against Swansea or city, like other top 10 clubs do -

the concept of loyalty dies not apply to some ppl in regards to alot if fans, some just like watching football and support whoever, and there will always be glory hunters I supported Chelsea last week, because id rather they won it than bayern. and when England get knocked out if the euros ill support another country. -

being our the epl wud dire for any football fan, limited news and having to stay up till way past my bedtime to watch highlights drains me of passion for football. it's also not fun being surrounded by fans of top flight teams means they dont want to talk about league one. I have never switched allegiances but my other half and ny dad r both spurs, and my uncle supports Chelsea, so I have a soft spit for both teams, and I would say I've been supporting spurs in the last few years as I am surrounded by mire of them. this will be the first year saints and spurs will play competitively since I met my missus and she already doesnt like the new found rivalry. on the flip my brother is a Liverpool fan, and saints are his second team, but he's bought shirts and gone to games more in our wilderness years than he ever did before, mainly cuz he could just go to a game when he wanted to watch some football. i don't care about returning fans, even if they support an epl side it's not like they switched to poopey. so long as they support a local side as well as their top side, wot f*cks me off more is ppl in Kent who support man u and have never been to see the gills play. I say embrace them, everyone likes being on the winning bandwagon. -
go with the American idea they use in ice hockey, run from the halfway line with the ball and try n beat the keeper failing that go with drawing straws
