  1. saw a Fleetwood program from this year, two player sponsors that stood out were Dave Smith's corrugated iron & Shannon's 45th birthday (or to similar effect)
  2. everyone does this ****, **** Audi, id rather have a sunseeker!
  3. MOTD2 on iPlayer
  4. sounds like they want a concrete offer from Liverpool.
  5. but what choice do they really have? someone's brainwashing ur kids, may as well make a preemptive strike. imo ppl who ram atheism down ppls throats are as bad as those who try it with religion.
  6. for a game I was actually at, it would have to be against Everton at home. 3-1 down with ten minutes left, beattie scored a penalty and then Fernandes hit a 30 yard curler that flew in off the far post with a cpl minutes on the clock. or telfer lobbing the Newcastle keeper on the last game of the season '02, whole ground stayed on thier feet for the last 5 mins.
  7. tunnel cam from the game...
  8. so is it a joke or ur opinion? I'm not offended, I just didn't think it was a joke. and if it was its inaccurate, it's a drama queen issue, not bi-polar. people not finding ur jokes funny, or even not finding them at all, usually means u dont have a sense of humour. it would help everyone if there was a dedicated smiley for jokes/sarcasm, as tone of voice is not usually conveyed in text.
  9. moron has two syllables. and to elaborate, u clearly dont understand manic depression.
  10. u are a moron.
  11. great source, out squad list on thier site has 2 number 8s, neither of which is Davis
  12. 4 is way too young imo, there was a toddler asleep in his dads arm at the leeds game this weekend fair play if ur willing to pay up & put up with it but my dad never took us to games till we were 7/8, its a long, expensive, noisy day out for a small child
  13. there we're moments we could have stolen the win, and i still feel we were unlucky not to get a point. but i am happy with the performance, we we're expected to make up the numbers, and it was the best game of the weekend for a neutral, david vs goliath etc.. & the restart at 2-2 was like watching fifa there's not really much to be negative about imo, football is about on the day performance, not wot happened in the last 32 meetings, or endless lists of whats, ifs and buts. 'on another day' tevez would have been given offside and we might have gone 2-0 up.... but ultimately, we almost got 3 points from a team that has only dropped 4 in two years at home, whose whole team, subs used included, consisted of top internationals, and in the exact same fixture last year Swansea lost 4-0. before the game i was happy just to see us score, regardless of result. obviously the wigan result carries more weight, but i can't believe ur ****ing on the fire this soon. just enjoy the moment, the world has seen southampton, and we have arrived!
  14. at least this first weekend provides enough evidence that building a side of players who were once good in the prem is not as good as people seem to think.
  15. I expect to see our 4-2-2-2 formation from last year next week yesterday worked well. but we won't be sitting back like that against wigan, and trying to get one on the counter, but i'm not even gonna try and guess the front 6 if the ramirez deal goes through picking a formation/team on FIFA is going to be a headache
  16. go to brick lane and u can pit them off against each other.
  17. and once again the thread sidetracked over minor hear'say, he only said it was a possibility. but logic dictates it takes longer to find better players, more scouting, higher fees, character references, etc. plus we dont have to replace our top goalscorer like arsenal do.
  18. reading fans on 5 live tonight from 7:30, for two hours :-D
  19. apparently kids who read the dandy are more likely to turn out gay. maybe that's what did it for them?
  20. my aunts a massive Elvis nut, she's adamant he's not dead.
  21. lets be honest, if u dont know wot the lyrics are it could sound like anything, ppl even do it for real songs. I genuinely know someone who thought the full Monty song was 'i believe in milkco' by Hot Chocolate check out the high and mighty though.
  22. so ur just a stubborn glory hunter? it's more that who u support is usually down to where u grew up, rather than where ur looking to buy a house. and every united fan in or around has grandad who supports them or family up north... how many united fans does it take to change a lightbulb? three. one to change it, one to buy the official 2012 commemorative lightbulb changing t shirt/DVD/badge, and one to drive the car back to Torquay.
  23. wots our catchment area though? :-D it should be based on where u were born/grew up, rather tan where u live now. it holds little weight in the way they have presented the data, of course half of Manchester support united, but it has no correlation to the fact that 98% of thier fans dont live in Manchester
  24. our championship dream team will do the business. we have 5, going on six, and have spent around £15m, rising to £25m if u include Phillips and wot Davis is worth, and our January spending was done with promotion/safety in mind. is there no muddle ground between fantasist and realist?
  25. interesting but these are just a view from a fan from each club, rather than fans. and I didn't read past arsenal tbh, not a fan of coloured text. it looks like a young girl wrote it with her new collection of gel pens.
