windows 7 steam runs fine on the rtm version and so do a load of other w7 programs

downloaded and installed the rtm version earlier in the week to have a looksie and my views are mixed. first hour or so I hated it, needs a bit of relearning, even had to google how to get onto the control panel and find the shut down were. but having played around on it id say I can see myself upgrading to this in the future on my laptop, but not till there are more metro apps available and stable releases, and think I'll stick to 7 on my desktop. it's a nice step forward, uses less CPU n ram than 7, the start page actually makes alot of sense and I really like the navigation. only big downside is it's gonna take some ppl an age to get acquainted, businesses are gonna have fun retraining :-) thoughts anyone?

was going to try and get 2(maybe 4) tickets for this through friends with season tickets rather than wait and run out of luck like with west ham are there any catches with red tape with this nowadays? names printed on tickets? having to take season ticket with you as well? didn't think there was but don't wanna get caught out, as always seems the case with small print

amazes me his entrenched ppl become in thus debate and mostly over nigley things, how often does a pc crash? how long is a piece of string? my main desktop is 6 years old, I have upgraded windows, ram, HDD & graphics card on it and I can't remember it crashing once and currently it does everything I need it to and I have never pushed it beyond its capabilities other than trying out the best graphics in a game in first boot. still yet to hear a real reason as to why ud pay double the price for a shinier, less compatible machine other than brand preference. I still find most MacBook users only use an i5 processor for browsing facebook and a music library.

van damme? thankfully we've never really had this as a problem, most prem n champ sides have had one or two bogardes.

not turning this into an os war but curious to why u hate windows do much? it has advanced alot since 3.1, office '13 is pretty slick too.

ur not going to get 60gbs of music onto an android device, jus old skool drag n drop the stuff u do want. do u use ur MacBook for anything else other than music n web browsing? if so I dont see any reason for keeping it, may as well downgrade to a netbook.

for small amounts of data use dropbox, google drive or icloud. I use drive and it makes rebuilding a dream. sync, rebuild, sync. for larger amounts id jus use an external drive, nas or raid is a bit ott if it's just home backup and ur not having to access it on a regular basis.

google drive invite all ur friends n family to share the folder and anyone can browse it in a browser, drive or no drive. I dont think u need a google account, Gustav valid email. the best option imo of ur not publishing to the whole world.
