So you came on a match thread to tell us you aren't interested in the match? Thanks for that

Think Jrod was offside in the middle anyway
-
Could see what he was trying. Might've been better going with his right

Judging by the early part of this game, looks like our philosophy is transcending through the whole squad. I have been slightly concerned whether we could maintain our form as the season progresses, when injuries/suspensions/fatigue kick in, but it really does look like we have good depth in the squad

Sunderland seem to be targetting Fox down that side

That's all well and interesting and that but your Google search only goes back a couple of years. As you clearly have a lot of time to spare, perhaps you could scour the history books to find the earliest record of arrogance from Southampton fans? Perhaps chart the level of arrogance over a timeline to see if this now is the most arrogant we have ever been, or if the 70's cup win was a record high for smugness? Or... how about you get away from the laptop and get some fresh air, take in a movie perhaps. There's a big world out there. Pardon the sarcasm but I can't believe how much effort is being expended to make such a ridiculous point.

Agree with this. If Davis had come on and made the same impact, it would have been barely mentioned. Astonishing that we need a scapegoat, during the best spell the club has had in 30-odd years...

I was surprised Ramirez came on as it didn't seem like the type of game he would shine, and it proved to be the case.. but he didn't do so bad as to warrant some of the comments on here.

Newcastle should've worn their away kit. Both teams had white stripes and black shorts, terrible clash

He is clearly the new Stuart Ripley. You'll see -
Was he even asked about Ramirez?

Seems he has been much better with his feet in Poland training sessions than he was on Sunday! http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/southampton-keeper-artur-boruc-scores-a-wonder-goal-in-poland-training/

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-0 West Ham
raynesparksaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Admirable that we are trying to stick to the principles of playing from the back, but we have to pick our moments better, West Ham were wise to it from the off and we looked much productive going direct today as we had a strong forward line, Osvaldo in particular. Wanyama is such a huge presence defensively but his passing is woeful at times, especially when you compare to Cork. Against better teams we will come unstuck conceding possession as often as he did. Thought JWP might have been a bit lightweight for that game but his set pieces made me think he should have come on a lot earlier. Champions League talk is a bit embarrassing. On this evidence there's more chance of me buying the DVD of today's game. -
I wanted to post earlier but I couldn't get a Fiji connection

This place is going down Japan (..the pan) I don't think I am going to Romania (...remain here) much longer

Czech you all out

Don't we usually keep him back for corners, to combat against counter-attacks with his pace?
-
Shaw's corners really have been excellent

FULL-TIME - West Brom 0-1 Southampton & MotM

I didn't think you were that bad, you had more of the game in the 2nd half, but I agree we deserved the win It seems obvious to say, but you really miss Lukaku. He was the difference against us last season -
Interesting. Perhaps the serenity of the south coast is just what the man needs to curb his wild side
-
I'd enjoy it even more if they gave it a rest with this beetroot packing business.

I wouldn't play Butterfield in centre mid.
