I saw it in the flesh for the first time yesterday too and I couldn't make out the sponsor from 15+ yards. I also thought it looked very chavvy. I was considering getting a new shirt this year (my latest one is the 125 sash) but certainly won't be now. :-(

there's no limit on the amount of tickets you can buy, they defo need to restrict this.

The article smacks of the type of journalism we were used to after Rupert Lowe left. The fact of the matter is, the club was in a poor state when Liebherr and Cortese took over. "Old boys" like MLT had it great. Things had to change. Everyone who has a job at the club should be thankfull we don't have that MLT-led consortium (was it Fialka?) running the ship or I can guarantee we wouldn't be where we are now and they probably wouldn't have a job at the club. Yes, we're bottom but 2/3 years ago we would never have dreamed of being in the EPL now. If we go down, so what? We can rebuild and come back stronger. I say NC should sign Adkins up on a 5 year contract and be done with it. We're only 3 years into a 5 year plan to be in the EPL - ahead of the curve. I hope we can hold onto NC for a very long time. And BTW, MLT is a saints legend in my eyes but he needs to take a leaf from Mr Corteses book and keep quiet.

I think I can safely say that there will be a number of clubs this season who will ALL lose at the Emirates and Etihad and lose to Man utd at home. Not worried.....(yet)

You are right - I was purchasing Adult + U11. Two Adult Champs League + two U11 Champs League costs £112. So they are actually charging a £1.50 processing fee for a "free" U11 ticket per match - which I didn't think they could do. Nice.

yes, it's £3 per match booking fee. So, including fees (not postage) Memorial Cup tickets are £28. Champions League tickets are actually £56. Great.

Just been online to book my "Champions League Bundle" for me, the wife and my two U11s and there was an £18 booking fee!!!!! Will be ringing the actual ticket office to confirm.

Also, £50 for 4+ hours is cheaper per hour than going to the cinema!

I'll be there - £50 for a family of 4. My boys will get to see the Olympic torch at their home ground (how often does that happen?) with a bit of footy at the same time. Looking forward to it.

I have not been able to afford a season ticket for 8 years now (which, coincidentally is the age of my eldest son) but since he is now into football, we attended about 15 home games last season. I was paying £19 which, I agree, was a good deal especially with the quality on show (except v Leicester). When my youngest came with us it was £29 (for 3 tickets). Next year I envisage it costing the 2 of us c. £42 for a home game in the Family Stand (this is based on new ST prices with installments plan). That is too much of a hike for us and unfortunately we will be attending less now my boy has just got into it. Unfortunate?
