I'm not sure about Rickie. It was fairly obvious Suarez was off this summer. It was also fairly obvious they were likely to bring in another striker once that happened. As much as he is a hero to us (rightly so) he isn't a Suarez replacement, not even close.

You big bully! -
As you say wages, and also with Long it was Prem-to-Prem. That always adds a few extra £million.
-
How old was van der Sar when he retired? Was he 40? Friedel? Mostly peak mid(ish) 30's now though.

Not really a falling out, but had a few choice words with a Saints fan at City away for shouting some pretty nasty and ignorant stuff at Yaya. Granted, Yaya was being an utter tit, but the things this guy was saying (generally racist - black/african type stuff) were totally not on. Though, I rarely come across other Saints in real life. It's why I put up with you lot.

Ah ok. Couldn't remember what it was. I thought it was 'illness'. But yeah, I was at that game & it was definitely the clown Gazza in goal.
-
He definitely missed the City away game, which was after the hand injury.

Haha. I did say they are a bit silly. But they can be a good starting point for discussions on people's favourites during that period, or thoughts on the list produced. For example, there is FAR too much of that utter bell Kanye in the list for me. At worst, they're usually a good way to find some new stuff you haven't heard too. Sorry, who is Rory? -
I'm not getting into one of those debates with you Papster. I'm perfectly happy with my Mac thanks
-
Swapped to Mac earlier this year. Can't ever see me going back. I was always sceptical, but I'm totally sold. That said, I've started doing video editing, run a lot of games and even a bit of design now. So a Mac was always likely to be a better option.

Pitchfork have released their top 200 tracks and top 100 albums for the decade so far. I know these lists are a bit silly, and of course hideously subjective. But, they do usually spark some good debate. Yup, I've got a fair few Spurs supporting friends & colleagues having grown up and working in London. Not one of them rates him.
-
Disagree. When they go in, they look great. But they are so few and far between. As Jeff mentioned, you only get this from highlights. The majority of his shots are wild and come no where near troubling the opposition GK.
-
Agreed.

Have heard it's really good, after the initial debacle. Recently moved pretty close by, keep seeing people in all the get up. I'm very jealous. Shame the weather has turned a bit, can't imagine it's as fun in the p!ss!ng rain.
-
Nice.

Some of the photoshops/meme's going round about Saints this summer were pretty funny (if you could detach from what was going on). The Whatsapp one and the managers with Saints shopping bags were quite good. These were pretty poor to be fair, but not worth getting upset about. It's harmless.

Derby would be a good shout. McClaren, for all his detractors, did a cracking job there last season and got some very impressive performances out of some young players. Notably, Will Hughes (granted the boy is very talented regardless of coach) and Bamford.
-
Yeah I'm enjoying this. Cheers pap.
-
Will give the album a listen a tomorrow. Sounds good. Cheers dude.
-
Don't fancy Redmond either tbh.

House of Cards is great. The gf and I absolutely stormed through the first series of Utopia at the weekend. Really enjoyed it, not entirely sure I know what the eff is going on - but I like it.
