Yes, clearly it was that nasty evil construct 'Political Correctness', scourge of the everyman that assaulted those kids. Definitely not a bunch of reprehensible men. It could never happen elsewhere, under different supervision, perpetrated by a totally different background of person. It sure as hell should not be mens attitudes that are blamed. It's that political correctness. Definitely. Jesus wept.

Again, sadly a lot of men just don't hold women in the same regard they hold men. It may be true that not all men are guilty of this, but 99.99% of girls/women will have been exposed to some form of sexual harrassment/abuse. It's a sickeningly common occurrence that men just don't seem to want to address or perhaps come to terms with the fact they are often culpable to some extent themselves. Trying to blame this on immigration, political correctness, multiculturalism or anything along those lines is simply sweeping the problem under the carpet.

Good season here = move to Champs League?

I thought it was because they were worried of stirring up tensions, and it could deepen racial divides. As opposed to being seen as racist for acting? Obviously, it's sickening what happened and the lack of action is shocking. Absolutely. But I don't think blaming political correctness solves anything. There's deeper rooted issues that need to be addressed. How many people were sexually assaulted at the BBC over all those years (serious question, I don't know - even an estimate)? It's not just a race or background thing.

Wow, bold claim that. Buffon has to be amongst the best goalkeepers in the world over the past 20 or so years.

I don't get this attitude of blame everything on multiculturalism or politcal correctness. It's utter nonsense. People of all races, religions, backgrounds rape and sexually assault women. I've said on here that in many people male attitudes towards women are disgusting, and I got all sorts of abuse (even called girls names - which kind of strengthens the point I was making). Until men (all men of every background) stop seeing women as toys for them to have their way with as and when they want this will go on. It's not about political correctness, it's about attitudes and education.

I think it's disgusting these Pakistani types can do this. It makes me so happy that you would never ever see any white or British men committing rape, or sexual assault or worse still paedophilia. It must be something to do with that Ismalic religion I think. You never see this happening in the Christian Church. Crawl back into your cave you total idiot.

Yup, it was admirable how he simply refused to give up even though it looked like it wasn't going to be his night. Didn't shy away from the ball and kept on trying to get on the scoresheet. He definitely deserved his goal. Hard to dislike someone that keeps going like that when it really looks like it's not going to happen for you. Hope for him (and Saints) this is the start of a decent scoring run for the guy.

So obviously meant to do it. Could see it live in the stadium. Can't understand how anyone can question it.

Dammit. I'm so underprepared. I'm just going to go anyway.

Haha cheers mate. I've only a navy mac, will that suffice?

Won't be the only one at least. Are walk ups available? I might just do it.

Hmmm. It's hard to tell with these debates. I remember Cleggy winning them.

How sad is it to go to football on your own? Really tempted to just pitch up (assuming tickets are still available). It's relatively easy for me to get there.

Interesting. I watched most of it last night and thought he was utterly pathetic. His debate style was childish. Refused to answer questions, then refused to let Darling speak. He just kept repeating himself.

Think I'd like Pelle to get more game time. He needs help to adjust, and a goal will do him some good I think. Also, I reckon if Gardos is fit it would be good to pair him with Fonte. Try and build up some understanding as soon as possible. All just imo of course.

How many managers actually give away selection details before a game?

I'm not disputing that Gaston has struggled so far. I've often said he has been made out to be worse than he actually has been, and has shown some good stuff - but has become a boo boy a touch unfairly. Anyway, whilst it is true he didn't play all that much in the WC. He will still have trained everyday, and travelled with the squad. So the actual playing time is probably not all that matters. He'd still be playing catch up on the rest of the squad. Clearly he isn't the most natural of athletes - so having to play catch up is far from advantageous in his case. Whether he will make it or not in the Prem is pretty up in the air. He certainly hasn't been consistent enough - but I would really like to see him come good. There's definitely a good player in there, and he can be exciting.

You fücking racialist prîçk

Gotta love footy fans.

I think we basically have to accept that everything in the world is racist now. Even this post.

Should please those that disliked the passing, possession football. Least now we "GET IT FORWARD!!".

Go for Bertrand/Long etc. we have lowered our expectations/ambitions etc - these players are not good enough. Go for Rojo/Alderwield etc. we are wasting our time on unrealistic targets. People are never happy.
