  1. K ta. I don't doubt if Barca came in for Koeman, he'd be off. Can't really say I'd blame the bloke.
  2. This may be really stupid, and apologies if so. Does their transfer embargo have any affect on non-playing staff? Are they allowed to poach other managers when that comes into place? Or would they have to promote from within?
  3. Very funny lady.
  4. In fairness, that's entirely possible with similarly aged couples for a whole host of reason. I do get your point though.
  5. I'm genuinely annoyed I forgot Nina Conti. I struggle to think of many comedians I have laughed more to live.
  6. That was a good show.
  7. Haha, I don't know what to say. I'm not sure I have a definitive answer for you! 75 25 I do find a bit grim, mostly as that is me with a 75 y/o. And, yeah that's not happening.
  8. Yeah, I do understand where you are coming from. As I say, I can't see myself ever getting involved in that sort of relationship. But I dunno, it just seems these are two people old enough to make sensible enough decisions about their lives, and if they want to get married more power to them. I'm not sure where exactly I'd draw the line, I think it would more depend on the couple in question?
  9. Just saying, 'in my opinion', doesn't make a sh!tty comment less sh!tty.
  10. His partner is what, 27? Makes him a couple years older than me (SF's partner I mean), can't really see myself dating/marrying someone that much older, but hey, if they are happy why not. I think at that age he is old enough to decide. Don't know if it is a tad hypocritical, but if the guy (I really should look up his name) was 18/19 engaged someone 30 years older I may feel a bit different.
  11. Ah ok. That qualifier makes a bullsh!t statement fine, obviously. I'll remember that one for future reference.
  12. Yeah, sure, that is what you were going for by saying "most if not all, comedians are not funny"
  13. Up his backside, where it was all along?
  14. So therefore no-one can be angry about this then? Because in the past, people wern't as angry about a different person, in different circumstances?
  15. A) There was B) Again, wrong actions in one case does not mean seeking the right actions in another.
  16. Don't be daft. Tina Fey, Sarah Silverman, Sarah Pascoe, Nina Conti. All very funny women, just off the top of my head. Jessica Hynes too.
  17. He was going to be a bit part player here. Why not do it at the team he grew up supporting, close to his family, on more money and have a crack at playing in the Champions League.
  18. I for one will be outraged if we do not sign him now.
  19. Signed him for Saints on FM, scored some banging FKs. I say sign him on that basis alone tbh.
  20. I really loved him in Spaced. Actually, I just really loved Spaced. Oh, the days when Simon Pegg & Nick Frost were funny.
  21. Sounds glorious. Though not sure about the country, I'm a city boy. Go bonkers in the country. Though, that may change with time.
  22. Crikey, just catching up on this. I managed to miss this, despite being in Berlin on the 22nd. Scary stuff. It seems a worry trend developing across Europe at the minute, these sort of 'Neo-Nazi's. I've heard of some scary stuff happening in Stockholm over the past few months. One colleague and his husband were hospitalised after a horrific attack by guys sporting Swastika's on their clothes, whilst another colleague was racially abused and literally chased out of a library with his very young daughter in tow. Not to mention the rise of the far-right in France and various other countries. Worrying times. Though, Germany's response is wonderful.
  23. Not had a single issue with fm 14/15 on my mac.
  24. I only really listen to Lauren's show to be fair so don't get it too bad. I've probably said it before, but I really just want to be her mate. For me she plays a good mix of stuff I like/know (a good variety too, not many shows will play The Ronettes & Mastodon in the same hour) and new stuff I havn't heard. Other than that I tune in for some guest shows like the John Cooper Clarke ones.
  25. They definitely pull out Here Comes Your Man on occasion too. Usually gets me bopping away at my desk, much to the amusement of those around me.
