  1. HYPOCRITE!!!
  2. Congrats.
  3. Jesus wept, that really is poor. It's funny, because you almost start off agreeing with me. Anyway, that isn't what I said. I said it's daft saying you were born over there, you can't come here. Everything over here is mine. If I was born in a country with little opportunity, I would probably move somewhere where I can have an opportunity at a better life. When you start getting that myopic, where do you end? I was born in London, should I be mad at people from all over the country coming here? Or my Mum for moving to London from Doncaster, I mean Donnie is a dump not much going on there. She's contributing to the overcrowding, strained public services, high house prices etc. Detracting from indigenous Londoners like myself. As it goes, I do give to several charities. I've also actively helped with charity fundraisers. Not that it really has a great deal of relevance, other than you again trying to scream hypocrite. Utter one trick pony, even after being called on it you still double down on it.
  4. Seem to despise? Because I said some of our ancestors actions, that led to some of our wealth (ya'know slavery, colonisation etc) were sh!tty. Are you really that dense? Can you not comprehend that criticism (pretty mild at that) does not equate to despising something. But no, just standard Batman wailing HYPOCRITE!!!
  5. As standard, wonderful insight from our masked hero there. Care to actually add anything?
  6. That's utter crap. That supposes anyone less wealthy is only in that position because they are inherently lazy, or worked less hard. i.e. the parents and grandparents of people in other countries didn't work as hard as your or mine parents or grandparents. But yeah, because we happened to be born on this island (wealthy through a lot of sh!tty actions of our ancestors) and other people weren't so lucky, f*ck em? Right? We got ours.
  7. So you think by accident of birth you are entitled to a better life than someone who happened to be born on a different bit of land?
  8. And why are there so many cows?
  9. Ah, mind if I ask you a couple q's via PM?
  10. Discussion over, our gracious leader has spoken. Close thread now pls.
  11. I nearly wrote about the lack of World Wars being a contributing factor, but considering the fact there is pretty much always a war somewhere it feels a bit insensitive. But yay for humans, perennially sending less wealthy/powerful humans to fight wars that having nothing to do with them! Whooo, just like the beavers amirite?
  12. Surprised it took someone that long to be honest.
  13. I've heard this said before, but they still aren't actively poisoning the planet in the same way we are. That's more to do with their ecosystem/environment I think. Besides, I can't imagine they are anywhere near as awful to each other as we are. I'm with Slipknot on this one:
  14. Pink & Orange.
  15. Can you name 5 species as destructive as humans, or relatively close?
  16. I thought it would be obvious that part wasn't entirely serious. Anyway, not so much selective, just stop there being so many of us. Everything about us as people right now is totally unsustainable. Fact is the population of the planet has trebled in about 50/60 years. Relatively Britain hasn't grown as much population wise. Complaining about lack of parking spaces, and blaming woes on Johnny foreigner is trivial. We cannot as a species carry on as we are.
  17. I feel bad, but . Ps smirks, was it you that said you'd had an ACL reconstruction?
  18. Finished up Catastrophe last night, cracking little show that. My favourite British sit com in years. All the characters are just great.
  19. Never mind this little island, there's too many people on planet earth. We treat animals like crops, and pollute the planet in growing these 'crops'. We can't find a way to feed the people on the planet, yet waste huge quantities of the food we do produce. We generally destroy the planet. On top of that humans are just awful. Simple solution, throw earth into the sun. Or some Utopia style sterilisation project.
  20. The gf is a doctor, and until she moved down here last year worked at LGI quite a lot (Drs move around quite a bit during training, F1 & F2). She says that the people who were around at the time and still there all knew what was going on. Seems everyone did, there was little will to do anything about it. Those who tried to speak out were p much told to STFU, and nurses it seems were actively discouraged from speaking out or trying to protect people they suspected were or could soon be victims. This was all muddied further by Saville fundraising, and I think personally donating (might be wrong on the personal donations) large sums to the hospital. There was even a Jimmy Saville fund at Leeds Uni Medical Department for the Students to help them carry out research.
  21. Hmmm, as a % immigrants are still less likely to claim than us Brits. Frankly, I'd rather talk about how much money we let millionaires wrangle out of paying in tax dodging, far in excess of the 'benefit scroungers' or 'parasitic immigrants' these shows try to demonise people as. But that's a separate issue.
  22. Considering the goal Boruc let in on Saturday, claiming he'd have got anywhere near either of the two FF let in on Sunday is daft.
  23. Yup, closely followed by Health & Education. Even if you see Immigration as an important issue - a show like this is not going to spark any sensible debate.
  24. Nope, no racists in UKIP. Absolutely not, it's just coincidence that a properly awful (verging on terrorist) organisation are brigading Ofcom on their behalf: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/feb/23/far-right-group-orchestrated-email-campaign-over-ukip-drama
