  1. He doesnt sound too hopeful. Guys on talksport claiming could be a smokescreen.
  2. Just a reminder Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Becoming a bit of a @talkSPORT regular at the moment. Going on to talk Gastón Ramírez to #SaintsFC at 11:45pm. Might be worth a listen.
  3. Been trying to translate some information on Bologna's forum to see their interpretation on the deal. It is very long winded, but here is the opening post. http://bolognanelcuore.freeforumzone.leonardo.it/cartella.aspx?idc=700435
  4. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Lots of Ramirez questions. I honestly don't know what to make of Bologna's statements. It could be another Büttner, it could be nothing.
  5. How did he lose the shot power challenge!?
  6. They've now got a clip on SSN of Adkins interview. A bit more information compared to the audio clip earlier. You can tell we are in talks but he was acting very defensively and didn't let much slip. He also defended bologna in a way by saying we like to do things privately and Ramirez shouldn't of made any comments until he's signed on the dotted line.
  7. Why the reports earlier then that Penarol were not happy with the fee but Bolonga were. If it was just a sell on clause they would not have a say and would get what their given.
  8. Translation Im not quite sure where it got the valuations?
  9. Quite a few people posting this link on twitter. They seem to think Penarol will keep the 30% stake in Ramirez with us owning 70%. Is that even allowed in England? http://www.campeonatoitaliano.com/blog/gaston-ramires-deixara-de-usar-a-camisa-10-do-bologna-e-ira-jogar-no-futebol-ingles/ Translation:
  10. If they want €20mil then we should just pay it! The guy is an incredible talent. We'd be paying £15.7mil, not a huge amount more really.
  11. He seemed fairly optimistic on Phillips too.
  12. This!
  13. Liverpool have just signed Assaidi. Confirmed on SSN. Can't see them going for Ramirez now.
  14. Sounds feasible.
  15. Wasn't in the squad according to sky sports scorecentre app.
  16. Seems I may well be psychic!
  17. The fact Gaston has come out with several quotes such as I want to be in the starting XI so saints is the best place to come and he wants to help us grow and be the star means he's obviously spoken to NC and NA. I wouldn't be surprised if he was already in the country. All the talk of NC being on holiday at the wrong time too. I bet he finished his holiday, flew straight to Italy and started the ball rolling. All of this makes me think this has been under way for quite some time. Probably has only just come out as Ramirez was waiting to see what happened with Spurs. My thoughts anyway.
  18. What time is the press conference? Hopefully NA can tie up some loose ends.
  19. Banish those post-Olympic blues; the Premier League is back. Sergio Aguero's last gasp heroics at the City of Manchester Stadium will forever be etched in top flight folklore but at the weekend it all counts for nothing as the 2012/13 season gets underway in earnest. The European Championship and a number of high-profile transfers has whetted the appetite over the summer, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal (albeit before losing Robin van Persie) all having made significant captures as they look to close the gap on Roberto Mancini's champions. For Tottenham and Liverpool it's a case of stepping into the unknown as Andre Villas-Boas and Brendan Rodgers usher in new eras at White Hart Lane and Anfield respectively. Aston Villa, Norwich, West Brom and Swansea also welcome new bosses into the dugout, while Newcastle have been able to keep hold of all of their top players as they look to build on a thrilling past campaign. Elsewhere, new boys Reading, Southampton and West Ham will bid to continue a welcome trend of recent seasons that has seen promoted clubs hold their own with the big boys. Everton and Fulham will look to kick-on in that understated and dignified way they have made their own over the past few campaigns, with Sunderland and Stoke City looking to make improvements on less than spectacular past terms despite only modest investment. Our comprehensive club-by-club guides look back at what has transpired over the pre-season and, more importantly, forwards ahead of what should be another thrilling nine months of top class football. Arsenal Aston Villa Chelsea Everton Fulham Liverpool Manchester City Manchester United Newcastle United Norwich City Queens Park Rangers Reading Stoke City Southampton Sunderland Swansea City Tottenham Hotspur West Bromwich Albion West Ham United Wigan Athletic
  20. Adam Johnson insists he does not want another season of being a bit-part player at Manchester City. by Tweet me @skygraemebailey 10:02 AM Get him in too!
  21. Does he have to be signed by midday today even though we play Sunday to be eligible for City?
  22. The9 must know what the reliability of these rumours are. Would be an incredible signing!
  23. Wolves really are holding out for a ridiculous sum of money. Not only Jarvis but Fletcher too.
  24. Throw him in part-ex.
  25. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7992592/Modric-set-for-Real-switch No mention of Ramirez lined up to replaced Modric. Just mentions that AVB has already signed Sigurdsson and that hes keen on Moutinho, who would cost a huge chunk of Modric's potential fee and I'd imagine would demand a higher wage that Ramirez would.
