To not play RL against a Big Fat Sam side who hoof the ball all day long is absolutely criminal. I am a big believer in Adkins and what he has done for this club the past two years has been nothing short of a miracle. However, he f**ked up big time in the summer window and is paying the price now. If cortese is as bad as people like MLT make out he could well be out on his ear. Setting aside the two goals he scored Jose looked a lot more assured at the back today. He kept Rodellega at bay basically all game. Yoshi was terrible out of position or not and Jos was very shaky when he came on and scored yet more OG's. As a group we looked a lot better, closed in packs and positioning was much better. Im disappointed with a draw but a loss would of been completely unjust.

Very bad news for us if true. Gaston, Morgan and Cork all injured leaves us quite weak. Maybe push Lallsna into Gastond role Punch or Mayuka out wide with Davis and JWP in the middle.

We will have to deal with Fellaini. He will be everywhere, Fox will be done all day if he plays, at least yoshida will put up more of a fight aerially. Look at Evertons results so far in the PL. Fellaini has been MOTM in every game bar West Brom. They were tactically brilliant and completely took him out the game. If we want anything from the game we have to hassle him all game and stop Pienaar and Baines linking up. I just hope NA does something like this to deal with it or we could be hit for 6 again.

Its essentially a 4-2-3-1 but I was trying to show how we would actually line up. With Baines and Pienaar constantly attacking as a pair Richardson would almost be playing as deep as clyne. I did explain that above the formation.

Rickie has been clinical in both the Manchester games which is against international level players. He should defiantly get a shout. With Carroll injured he would be the ideal candidate in my eyes, maybe Hodgson would go with crouch first but I think rickie is a lot more deadly.
