Sakho to West Brom fallen through. Could cause a knock on effect if we are actually interested in Berahino

Great news for Swansea. A real shame, exactly the type of player we're crying out for.

Dembele was Rodgers first signing at Celtic. A real prospect though. Will probably be the next Celtic player on our radar
-
Maybe, but he left a championship side for Arsenal. He would now be returning to a side on the upward swing who have qualified for Europe two seasons on the bounce.

UNITED EYE BAKAYOKO Manchester United are interested in signing Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to France Football. Having signed for the Ligue 1 club in 2014, the 21-year-old has only been able to make 22 appearances, casting doubt over his future. United have been put on alert as uncertainly lingers over the midfielder and his ability to fit in manager Leonardo Jardim’s plans. The report adds Bakayoko is considering proposals from Stoke and Southampton, who are also interested in the France U21 defensive midfielder. , according to France Football.

Sky Sports Breaking News: Palace have signed goalkeeper Mandanda for an undisclosed fee

Baffling! If MP was interested why on earth aren't we snapping his arm off. He's a top manager coming off of a good season with City. Either he wasn't in the running at all or flat out rejected us, surely we didn't reject him.

This. Would certainly turn players heads too, either current or potential incomings.

I'll go for Roger Schmidt. Two fantastic seasons with Leverkusen and brought in some talent in Hernandez and Tah who looks very promising. Likes to press when out of possession (poch esque) and are very good on the counter attack surging players forward. I enjoyed the style of play in the few games I watched them in play in during the latter stages of the Europa league and bundesliga.

AvB gone from 33/1 to 6/1 on William Hill

Moyes would be the ideal candidate. One of the only managers seemingly these days that will show loyalty and be in for the long haul too. Come on Les sell the club go him and see what he can achieve over the next 10+ years

BREAKING NEWS Southampton are on the verge of signing Charlie Austin from Queens Park Rangers, according to Sky sources. We understand the player has had his medical and agreed personal terms, and will join for a fee believed to be in the region of £4million. Austin’s contract at Loftus Road is due to run out in the summer.

RB is a bit of a grey area for us. Soares seems unconvincing after a good start there being at fault for a few goals; not tracking back and not marking runners from crosses. Martina has done okay the last couple of games but isn't first team quality despite that ridiculous goal. If we could get him relatively cheap I'd take Debuchy. Wenger has said he can go and he's more than capable of doing a good job despite being 30 now. Even if only on an 18 month deal. Of course I'm not sure what sort of wage he is on, you don't exactly want a right back to be your top earner when the wages could be better used on a player in the spine of the team. Having said that my first choice would be byram who should be a steal with his contract expiring this summer. Thoughts?

MATCH REPORT VVD, Caulker, Juanmi, Rodriguez and Seager all involved.
-
Not a bad window for us. Offloaded the two that wanted out, held on to Vic and Mane and have bought in some decent players. Feel we are one midfielder light though.

Apparently all but signed. 17 year old keeper who has been called up for England U18's

Agree in a sense that Wanyama isn't irreplaceable in comparison to Morgan. However, if he goes we need another defensive rock to play along side Romeu if he is to go. I wouldn't know where to start though especially with very little time left in the window. -
