I really hope this isn't a replacement for Che, the last thing we need is to take a punt on an injured player returning to previous form. September we have some crucial fixtures against teams we'd expect to be around us come the end of the season. I live in hope Mara/Onuachu are off and this is a replacement for one/both of them

Sky Sports are reporting that Celtic are close to signing a CM. O'Riley on his way for a medical tomorrow?

Is Saudi/Qatar out west?
-
👀 You were saying?
-
If we can keep them both and put ourselves in a good position come January i imagine they'll both be off. Replacing them may be an issue though to see the job through
-
I though he had just come back from injury and isn't fit enough yet? It may prove to be a blessing as if he was tearing up the league now somebody would have already snapped him up. That being said I still think he'll leave, most likely on loan on Deadline Day
-
Are you sure?
-
Paintsil back on?
-
No, it was the return of Guan

Martin has mentioned a few times himself and Che are catching up multiple times a day to discuss updates. If we get to deadline day Che will be aware that he won't be able to leave unless a replacement is lined up. Wilcox and Martin aren't stupid.
-
He said he can play both CB and RB but they both made it clear his main role will be CB especially now with the injury to Stephens
-
Cole Palmer and Armando Broja

Jealous! I imagine he was relatively unbias though. That pair was like carragher on steroids watching pool

The best part of that stream was listening to the two QPR commentators constantly winge. Incredibly unprofessional but hilarious
-
Fraser has looked very sharp given he's not played much competitive football.
-
Blackmore confirming the obvious, Che not in the match day squad today
-
He isn't good enough as a lone striker but when he was partnered with Ings he managed 9 PL goals and 5 assists which isn't bad as a secondary striker. Ings got 12 that season and he's well regarded as a PL player
-
You obviously don't understand modern football. Agents and players hold all the cards now and Che is in the last 12 months of his contract anyway
-
Yes, because Che and Sulemana are too good for the championship. We'll still have the pull to replace with a top end player at this level. You seem to forget players have a say in where their future lies, more so than ever.

In the sense of you'd assume we'd look to cut our losses on a player that has done nothing to date with a high wage £22m isn't a bad fee in that circumstance
-
It's good money for an unknown entity that offered next to F**k all since signing in January for a record fee If he leaves he will be replaced as will Che
