Why are we loaning Che then as opposed to selling?
-
Agreed. Letting Mara go only makes sense if Che stays and we add Stewart. We need one more CF plus a RW

He will do once Martin has had him for a weeks training!

The have a net profit this summer of nearly €60m despite signing Nmecha (€30m) and Sabitzer (€19m). How can they only have €10m left to spend? Are they operating on a €50m loss every season?
-
I believe Harwood-Bellis will be announced today, seemingly had his medical yesterday and is all but done.

I never mentioned a smokescreen. What I did say is if we've plugged club leaks and our transfer dealings are out of the public eye it would help to get them over the line. Whether you believe it or not if it is in the public domain fans begin to put (some) pressure on their owners if previously linked and another team has come in for them.
-
It seems as if those leaks have been plugged that Martin was unhappy about. I'm quite content with it being quiet, THB came out of nowhere last night and anything in the public domain may allow other teams to jump onto our targets.

I think he's a little bit behind. Talking about Iheanacho as a possibility for Wolves when he seems all but gone to Palace.
-
The echo, telegraph and talksport all seem confident a season long loan is close. Stephens, Bednarek, THB and Holgate is great strength in depth with Charles able to drop in too if needed
-
Highly likely it's a chancer that's got lucky. Alex crook also tweeting about it too so I guess that's doomed. Back to Wood
-
To be fair to him he tweeted that 7 hours ago...
-
Do we need an option? I thought he only had 12 months left on his deal?
-
The athletic had already reported Che's new contact included the vice captaincy. So I guess if he is still here come Saturday it will be him but Martin keeping his cards close to his chest if he does move on
-
Looks like they're looking down the loan route. If he isn't interested in playing for us in the Championship then we may as well get his wages off the books for the season.

No concrete links to a particular club but the Athletic reporting this morning that he is about to leave with Stewart lined up to replace him. There are a few more links to Stewart coming in
