Just been through Southampton's fixtures for the last games. Being realistic I think you'll end up on between 82-86 points which I imagine will see you go up in second but it could be quite tight indeed. What do you see as enough points this year?

Was Sharp paraded at half time or has he gone back home for the day to sort out moving his life down south?

Great result really, not losing it will the team a world of good. With reinforcements to come its looking positive!

Im sure you'll get a CB in but will be a loan so done over the next week. You'll want a player good enough for the premiership in the long term so if you've not got your first or second choice then may as well bring in some adept cover until the defence is back to full strength.

For a championship team you play pretty good football and try to keep it on the deck more often than not which is encouraging. I just feel in the 50/50 games West Ham have enough to snatch points whilst if crossing doesn't work the saints will drop points. Been saying to my old man all season I thought you'd drop away. Gut instinct is you'll end up 3rd and lose in the play offs. However Southampton are a premiership side and will be there within a few years, hopefully sooner than later. One signing could really be the difference here.

Being somewhat of a neutral fan (a student at southampton uni who has been to watch the team this season) the team needs a bit a cutting edge. Most the home games i've been to the team is reliant on dominating possession and RL putting in some heading. Think the side just needs one player that is effective on the counter for games you don't have as much of the ball.
