The problem for me isnt really the defense. Its that the CMs are too negative and get bypassed both offensively and defensively leaving the full backs needing to cover more ground to create and the CBs to give the ball away by hoofing over the top due to no options. So you need two midfielders who can retain the ball but also fill in when the other one tries to press up the field. Cork will certainly help this because he can cover clynes runs. You just need pace out wide and the ball keepers in the middle.

I would play this side, MS and Davis struggle to do anything at the moment so have to drop out. If you cant shield the back four, retain the ball or even create a chance then you need time back in training. --------------Boruc------------ Clyne-----Fonte---Maya---Shaw -----------JWP---Lallana-------- Puncheon---Ramirez----Mayuka -------------Lambert------------- Bench: Gazza, Fox, Hooiveld, Cork, Davis, Schneiderlin, Rodriguez
-
Well you all seem to misplacing the blame on the defence. May as well be playing with 9 players, Davis and Scheiderlan offer nothing at all. Can't retain the ball, cant tackle and can't play a creative pass. Should be giving Ward-Prowse time over Morgan.
-
Your midfield offers nothing, gets bypassed every single time and when they're on the ball they just pass sideways or backwards. You're centrebacks and full backs are your most creative players on the pitch. Complete lack of passion too.

Yoshida any time goal scorer at 16/1 might have to take a punt
-
Worse defense in the league and only 1 striker who can score, youll be lucky to stay up
-
Its hardly his fault that Ramirez and Cork are out is it? Not sure how sacking him will make them fit.
-
No urgency in the play at the moment, the team look to afraid to take a risk when going forward which makes you too predictable.

Tommorow is the biggest game of the season for you imo, not taking points would be disasterous and winning could really set you off. A loss and i cant see you avoiding relegation this year
-
Id imagine its got to be the priority for them, put me off going to the united game because i could only find singles.
-
Another problem with the site is that you can choose exact seats, this ends up with load sof single seats dotted all over the place that people then domt want to buy, sort it out.

Fox is gonna get torn a new one by Valencia today

When buying tickets do i need to register the friend I'll be going with in the system too or is it ok booking 2 tickets under the same account without needing to link a friend?

How many youth players will break into the side next season?

Just to emphasis if you are under 21 then you do not need to be registered as part of the 25 man squad. -
I enjoyed Blackpool at home where Bart fell apart, made the last minute equaliser all the better!

Clyne is going to united, the Palace chairman pretty much confirmed it a few weeks back. Saints should have a look at Paul Robinson of Blackburn if they get relegated. I'd have a look to France for some good young technical players who like the ball, their game isnt too different to here. -
I'd ****ing love Guly to score the winner that puts you up, that boy takes too much **** on here. Otherwise he could take revenge with a last minute own goal!
-
Teams out yet?
-
Goal difference should be ok for the weekend, cant see West Ham sticking 3 past Hull. Saints should see the promotion out anyway the Coventry players will all be thinking about getting out of there. Best team over 46 games will go up anyway.
-
Fonte and Davis cocked up big time for the second goal, was watching it with the gf and told her he was way too far across the goal. The freekick wasnt even in the corner and he wasn't close to it. He's won some big points though so he's allowed it. Thought the team played well really but was one of those days where the 50/50s went against them. West Ham will drop points in one of their last 2 games anyway but Saints will win on Sat.
-
Tempted to put £5 on Hooiveld to score anytime at 8/1
-
Full time, should be up with that
-
If you were offered 3 points clear of West Ham with 3 to go and them needing to play Leicester and Hull at the start of the season you'd have snapped their hand off. Saint should win 2/3 and so should West Ham, puts you 3 points clear.
-
It's all gone quiet from the "we only need eighty points" brigade....

I called 85 about 3 months ago, still think it will be the number -
Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .

3 really tough games for the hammers, 3 points for the saints will see them up. 2 winnable games as well. Reading have been unstoppable recently.
