Leeds is the right place for him, big loyal fanbase and theyll have a new chairman then so he'd be their clear choice. He deserves a top top job!
-
Id expect Boruc Clyne Forren Yoshida Shaw Cork Spider Punch Ramirez Guly Rodriguez Sounds like Forren has known of the interest for a while so will have been privately training hard. Id expect to see all of Corteses signings playing

It doesnt rain... it pours

**** off

What a ****ing joke. Hope he gets a much better job, deserves far better than how your club has treated you. MLT has been right all along. Luke Shaw will be gone soon
-
What a ****, its what happens when younsell your soul to the devil though. You'll get relegated
-
Probably makes more sense to be pro-active than reactive in professional football. If you've signed a new CB who is coming to compete with your two first choice centre backs then you'd assume, providing his fitness levels are fine, that he'd be picked over your current third choice.

You do realise goal difference could relegate you, smart move by adkins

How can qpr qfford 8m plus 70k a week, madness

Definately seems like a window where teams are trying to buy their way out of the bottom 3. I wonder if a more stable team will be more beneficial than hoping players fit in. You obviously need depth but if you can keep people fit your current first 11 should be enough to keep you up. Would you be happy to see no signings if you were guarenteed your first choice 11 would be fit for every game for the rest of the year?

Half the problem with his is that he's a bit sharper than the players around him. You could see the difference when he played with Lallana who is a player much more on his level. When you can get Lambert, Ramirez and Lallana linking up you'll cruise past all the lower sides. The addition of Mayuka and Rodriguez adding pace behind the back line means your chance creation should be incredible when everyone gets going.

Delighted for you. Had to ride your luck at times but you always looked the far more dangerous side. I worried for you towards then end when you were playing a makeshift back four due to injuries but they all did something very good at one point or another. As many times as your keepers have dropped you points this year Boruc won you the three today. I thought Lambert, once again, showed that he is top drawer and everything he did came off. Notable performances from Rodriguez, Clyne and Puncheon. If you can get everyone fit theres no chance you're going down. If you make one or two good additions, eg Astori and an extra wide man, then you might even make a late push and be solid lower-mid table.
-
Boruc starting to prove why he's number one. Far better than anything else you have.
-
That was a bit controversial, ref got it right but looked like a red at first
-
Boruc Clyne Hooiveld Yoshida Shaw Cork© Schneiderlin Puncheon Ramirez Guly Lambert Bench: Gazzaniga, Martin, Fox, Davis, De Ridder, Lee, Rodriguez I'd imagine you'll line up like that. Should have enough in you to win this one quite easily.
-
He's the signing of the window for you in my opinion. Would cost you a good 10m to get a player of his quality otherwise.
-
Wages for Stekelenberg would be massive, hes probably on about 80k at the moment. Not sure you can afford that for a goalkeeper whos never been tested here.
-
Probably an offer to try and push along the astori deal
-
I'd imagine it's all because they knew he was going to the African Nations cup. They did not want him to become a vital part of the side and then lose him for a month or two over January and February. He's clearly a good player and well rated but theres no point making yourself reliant on a player then losing them.
-
atleast it wasnt hooiveld
-
Bloody hell only tuned in for a minute or two and these commentators are doing my head in. Need to put their boners away.
-
My oh my, would be a great coup. If you can get him and sign someone else in midfield then there is no chance you'll be going down. Love him or hate him, Cortese really does want the club to succeed. Astori gives you the ability to have extra cover at both RB and LB, RB is Clyne is out then Yoshida can come in and LB if Fox and Shaw are out then Clyne can swap to the left and Yoshida on the right.

Contract was ending in the summer, hes a good talent.

Reading have signed the sporting captain, a CB, for 600k. Bargain.
