Devastating analysis there - is that why you call yourself Professor?

Ta! Lets keep this thread updated if anyone finds a good stream.

Get a life you sad man.

For me the perspective is this: Last season Blackpool's turnover of just £7m was the second lowest in the Championship after S****horpe United. The Seasiders' wage bill amounted to an extremely modest – by football standards – £4.8m. Blackpool have yet to spend more than £500,000 on a player and Holloway functions with a full-time support staff of just four. That was increased from three this summer, when the club finally appointed a specialist fitness coach. Given all the money we're splashing around it's about bloody time we got promoted!

Quiz question for bored fans waiting for the season to start...

Sorry, is this intended to relieve boredom? -
Supposedly when people change a website regular users all hate the changes at first then get used to them and end up deciding they actually quite like the redesign anyway. Now the dust has settled on this I am curious to know how many now actually prefer the new forum and whether anyone's changed their minds.

Waste less of my time on here making pointless posts

Someone should tell them what making amends actually means

That's not abuse, he just thinks what you said was extremely stupid. He's not attacking you just your opinion. It's certainly not sarcasm either. A sarcastic comment would be something along the lines of - Oh how clever you are Alpine.

Weird things happen when I log in, and, like for_heavens_Saint, it forgets me. -
It's true that whenever you change things people moan no matter what. The fact remains, however, and not that it matters, that that banner is utter gash.

Does any footballer ever describe a fellow professional as complete cr@p when someone signs them?

But the "its people's own fault for not taking responsible control of their own finances" argument doesn't wash does it because people had every reason to expect they would be able to pay in instalments and thus had no grounds to budget for paying for their ticket upfront. So no its not that simple is it.

Well I think that means we can be sure there's absolutely nothing in it then.

St Etienne interested in Schneiderlin
Danbert replied to forever a red and white's topic in The Saints
How much do you think he's worth then? When there was a round of speculation surrounding Lallana people on here were insisting he was worth 5 mil. which was embarrassingly wrong IMHO. These are kids who've tried their luck in a higher division without any great success. Much as I'm happy to have them they have a value. -
Careful what you say. I remember Sillyman Al Joke from that lot down the road saying that he was modelling them on Arsenal.

Always had a soft spot for Viafara if only because of that time he stayed on the pitch and got on with it after the dopy Pole knocked his teeth out.

This quote from Storrie tickled me particularly. "I'm confident that a CVA (Company Voluntary Arrangement) can be reached. The backbone of the club is very strong, and we can make the play-offs next season."
-
Jaidi is great for coming up with utter nonsense. I spotted this one a while back: "The results we have got lately have given us more confidence and given us the smell of our aim, it's in our hands, and we're working hard and concentrating as much as possible to do that." What amazes me really is that they actually put it out unedited on the OS.

Only 31 points needed to stay up in the Premiership this season. Is that a record?
