Any club who appoints Duncan Disorderly, even only as an interim manager, deserves what it gets.
-
When he went one on one a couple of times yesterday, you could really see how ridiculously quick he still is. Won his fair share of headers, provided a good outlet ball and held the play up, hassled and harried like a dervish. Not fair to drop him after that IMHO.

I thought Cedric was poor all game. Agree about the pressing, and I thought Bertie put in a good shift. Ings a class apart.

Stephens is 25, older than Van Dijck was when he joined us. His age has nothing to do with it, he's just not very good.
-
Good win for your lot there Mack, just the sort of game 30,000 fans would happily pay to watch.

Ralph's over-thinking it again. I can see us losing heavily.

An article Neil Allen would be proud of. Apparently, we're "suspended in a tide of limbo."

It's a bit like Brexit. Boris Johnson patently didn't want to take the UK out with no deal. He wanted to be stopped, whereafter he could point fingers at the "Brexit traitors." Similarly, given the ridiculous conditions attached, it looks suspiciously like Eisner has no intention of actually doing the stadium work - he just wants someone to blame.
-
Currently, at give away prices, Pompey have an average league attendance, including plenty of season ticket holders who don't actually attend, discounted tickets for UoP staff and students etc., of 17,892, making them the third best-supported team in League 1 (congrats on that by the way). Fratton Park's current reduced capacity is 19,669, and if they fixed the roof 21,000 people could watch Pompey lose in discomfort. I'd be curious to see the feasibility studies which are going to convince Network Rail and the council to invest millions in advance of Pompey spending a single penny upgrading Fratton Park to a 30,000-seater turd bowl. Where exactly do they expect these hordes of new supporters to magically appear from?

Romeu has put in decent performances - Stephens is in no way suited to the role IMHO
-
You'd know
-
Why do I even bother, what the **** was that
-
I know the players aren't that good, but they also look shot of confidence and uncertain of their roles. We're set up in a way that clearly doesn't work, and the coach has done nothing.
-
I'd lay money Whelk is full of ****. Appropriate avatar he has too. Don't know either of them mind.
-
The Fratton Faithful fighting amongst their own over whether to support the manager? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.

Is that a 4-4-2 ?
