    Lookalikes.

  2. I always thought Caitlin had that rosy-cheeked piss artist look. And Paul Cook was obviously on the sauce. Well, turns out they all were. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/it-was-a-bit-of-a-party-holiday-ive-never-had-a-pre-season-like-it-adam-barton-on-portsmouths-drinking-sessions-which-inspired-success-under-paul-cook-3300988
  3. Looks an aggressive little shithouser from the video
  4. Villa do seem to be happy to pay sizeable transfer fees for players who are not quite good enough for the top six. If they offer us silly money for JWP, we'd be stupid not to take it.
  5. We'll see.
  6. They've got League 2 Rochdale's 19-year-old reserve keeper in on loan to replace their player of the season 🤣
  7. So, the much-vaunted "10 million redevelopment of Fatton Park" is actually just performing essential maintenance at the last minute on the money sink before it collapses: https://www.hampshirelive.news/sport/football/portsmouth-fratton-park-fans-cullen-5548973
  8. We can cross Danny Rose off the list - he's joining Watford
  9. Star striker turns down Pompey to opt for our Nigel's Charlton. Strangely, the attraction of playing in front of the passionate baying few did not sway him. They need to recruit about 10 players and are clearly losing out to clubs with bigger budgets for many of their main targets. Come the beginning of the season they will frantically be signing whoever's left
  10. Further departures in the pipeline if an offer should come in: https://www.hampshirelive.news/sport/football/football-news/portsmouth-boss-danny-cowley-hints-5523682 It's getting pretty desperate
  11. They now have just 14 players on their books, having lost many of the less-shit ones, and all but three of those remaining have their contracts up next summer, including million pound man John Marquis. No wonder the manager and the hapless clown CEO did a bunk. https://www.hampshirelive.news/sport/football/transfer-news/contract-status-every-portsmouth-player-5512999
  12. Burnley are broke Palace have no players and no manager Steve Bruce is dogshit Norwich, Brentford and Watford are all worse than us Wolves and Brighton are also in the mix Recently, we have recruited reasonably well. We have a young squad with players who will improve, and a manager who is capable.
  13. Looking to shit their bankable asset: https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/mark-catlin-addresses-selling-portsmouth-playing-assets-as-blackburn-and-cardiff-continue-to-monitor-ronan-curtis-3249320
  14. No action taken, as no complaint was made. Seems they beat a student unconscious because they weren't allowed in the beer garden.
  15. That is kind of the exception that proves the rule, though
  16. Or back with us playing out his contract. When asked about him, Hassenhuttel was more or less positive about the season he's had at Fulham and said the usual about us following loan players closely and that the door isn't closed to them.
  17. Well either they think they'll get a better deal elsewhere, or the prospect of another season playing for Pompey is so unappealing that they're prepared to take a wage cut to escape the fetid isle.
  18. Their captain's on his way too Will the last person to desert the good ship Pompey please remember not to leave the famous boardroom chairs in the skip
  19. If it really has been "genuinely the greatest experience of his life." Why is he jacking it in? That's like filing for divorce and telling your wife she's the only women you'll ever love. The whole place is such a fetid dump of a joke, but somehow in the pikey idiot's eyes it's the bestest sleepiest giant in world football ever. Sooo much doublethink.
  20. Plenty more to vomit over at the link
  21. Catlin is on his way Half their players are out of contract, they're looking for a new "head of football operations", have a new management team, and have just decimated their academy. So there's basically no-one left. Lol
  22. Redmond, Adams, JWP and Ings were excellent Bednarek Stephens and Vestergaard were poor - lots of unforced errors. Obafemi looked dangerous and Salisu dependable.

    Our form

Outside the top six and Everton, we had a longer current run in the Premier League than any other team, and that despite spending considerably less than many. Objectively, I know that's quite an achievement, it just doesn't feel that way.
  24. If you reach the playoffs, which I doubt
