Sorry lads, I'm general I'm very optimistic when it comes to southamtpon, but every club in the world are looking at him. I'm afraid it probably wont happen.
-
Been excellent so far, still young for a keeper as well.
-
Looked good imo. Was expecting him to be a flaw in midfiel . Looked good made some good passes and runs. Looked better than mane and isn't he just 18?
-
Seems this article is proving that the little club on the south coast can make a lot of noise. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/early-doors/old-trafford--loudest-stadium-in-premier-league-121957875.html?cmp=ukfb

I thought osvaldos against man city was goal of the season for us last year as well. Seems it was forgotten pretty quickly after everyone realised he was a ****.

Meant to put t shirt lol

I really like him, not as talented as tadic or pelle but to win games you need more than 11 talented players, you need players who do different jobs and contribute different things. Long is a bit different, adds something. By the way any of you lads the guy I saw at st marys wearing the t ****t with shlong on the back? Made me laugh.

Pompey war memorial defaced with Saints graffiti
cobbysouth replied to Maggie May's topic in The Saints
The fans that let this club down, I dont wanna be affiliated with scum like this. -
I'm 18 years old and went to the last game at the dell. Cant remember it to well as I was only 5 but am still very proud that I've seen saints in both stadiums

He was pretending hes been getting news through. Screw that hes ordering his dinner online ready to get home and put his feet up.

frankly i feel 14 million for jay rod is fairly insulting, especially after we payed 12 million for long. i beg to god this doesn't happen he couldve had arund 20 goals if he wasnt injured and definitely wouldve gone to brazil.

Van Gaal or Koeman? Which great Dutch manager would you prefer?

Cant find the one I originally read but this is fairly similar just not as detailed http://screamer.deadspin.com/that-one-time-zlatan-ibrahimovic-threw-shade-at-dutch-b-1597934952 -

Are you saying van gaal will achieve more solely because hes at united. I'm not sure which would be better. Its impossible to know because theyre never going to both be managing under the exact same circumstances but theres an interview with zlatan ibrahimovic about having gaal as a manager and koeman as the assitant manager. Zlatan said him and most of the squad hated gaal but koeman was nice and smart and experienced. Zlatan said gaal and koeman didnt get on. That gaal saw players as stats rather than people and they both viewed football very differently. Has anyone else seen this? I'll see if I can find it. -
Welbeck and nastic would be great. Nastasic an incredibly talented young cb and Welbeck can play as striker or as a right sided winger. Would be good for us and hes still fast.

4-3-3 forster Clyne fonte yoshida bertrand Cork schneiderlin wanyam Long pelle tadic Long and tadic as wingers who can drop into a 4321 if necessary or a 4231 with schneiderlin going forward into the attacking 3 or even a 442 with long up along pelle. Means we can quickly adapt to what theyre playing. Would love to get a glimpse of gardos

Done, good luck

Was it just me or did he seem a different level that what was expected? Looks like can be a true star.

A lot of top class signings so far. Very happy with the squad, but is that us done? Even if it is we've done well but I reckon pushing a little further forward might allow us to fight for eighth place again. The most I could hope for is a new cb, hopefully vlaar. Every spot needs competition. A new winger with a lot of pace, lets say biabiny and possibly a new striker as I can see long following jay rods lead as a 2nd striker playing behind pelle.

He wasn't brought in to make the incredible long passes like gaston and tadic. He is a defensive brick wall.

"Southampton averaged 1.47 points per game last season but that jumped to 1.58 when Wanyama started and dropped to 1.28 when he didn’t. They conceded on average a goal every 121 minutes when he was on the pitch and that dropped to every 57 minutes when he didn’t play." Some dont like him for the occasional sloppy pass but thats some incredible stats. And hes only 22. Think he's guns make a big difference next season.
