I got a singha for £3 in chapel yesterday. strange that it should be different?
-
After seeing him at the memorial cup yesterday, all I can think is that we need a new Goalie, ASAP. I mean what, he slipped over and faceplanted twice, missed the ball completely twice, poor handling, chested instead of caught geranimo's goal. I don't want to be harsh on the lad but honestly it was like watching a man's soul be destroyed over 45min, his confidence (which must have been low to start with) will now be at rock bottom. I mean it was hysterical how bad he actually was :/
-
Since that screen was off the entire way through the match I doubt they turned it on for just the morning, therefore I doubt you were their yesterday morning and I am left wondering why you would claim to have been?

this is true

I work in the construction industry, We have document records for reports etc that extend back to the mid nineties. Our designs extend until the 60's. Now, in betting, the detailed records are their bread and butter to our designs. That is what they do, formulate odds, take bets, and keep books. I think it would be very naive to assume that these records have not survived for 10years. Very Naive.

There will be a punishment if anything is proved. And also, we will have to put up with some serious banter from other clubs, not to mention the skates looking down on us.
-
I am also slightly concerned with where this could lead. However, since the idea of "collusion" to get the ball out of play after "X" minutes involves 2 teams - you can assume that we wouldn't be the only ones to get punished. And as long as it is not throwing the result. I doubt there would be that severe a punishment.

Wilfred Zaha - Crystal Palace (linked in The Sun)

Becuase you only have to look at the players we are investing in for the future. Davis is a stop gap, but players like cork, lallana, zaha, jayrod, butland etc and we are establishing a squad of young and english players. Yes we have Jos and Fonte etc but they are filling the gaps that will predominantly be english that we can't aford yet. -

Really, you don't think that the future of saints is young English players? How can you not see a preference for that, what with the comments of a 50% academy side, and interest in buckland, jayrod and now zaha. I suppose we will have to disagree but I can do it with a lot more class than some ,,|,, -

I have heard this also, plus i think he fits the bill. Young, talented and English - The Southampton Way personified. -
There's a post on Ugly Inside that we've bid £3m for K Schmeichal

This I doubt, as if it is true Leicester would have kicked up an almighty fuss with respect to the FFP in championship. He will be on 20k/25k tops. You forget. we were the richest boys in that league and now we are premier. -
I think there is still a place for deano. And to be fair, I want their to be. He has given his all so far and is definitely that bit of steel that we need in midfield for the tougher fixtures. We aren't going to go to every team this season and try to outplay them. Not a chance. Hi arsenal, please just stand their and let us samba around you ^_^ When it comes to those fixtures I can see us going for a 5man midfield and Hammod will be in the thick of it. Tracking men down, making vital challenges and shouting encouragement to the lads. He may not have the technical ability of morgan but neither does chaplow, and their is definitely a lot of chappers bumming love ins that happen on this forum. I love the team we are building and I trust the players and Nigel. They of last seasons key players will form a part of next years squad that is for sure!

Okay, it has become clear snce logging on that I may not live this down on this Forum Excellent start to Friday haha - Also the star trek facepalm is excellent!!!! On a aide note, the rumours sound interesting and are plausible. and Adam Johnson would be amazing!
-
Also ffs, why has it made staplewood 2 words!!!
-
Late one guys, but thought you may be interested: According to the people who appear to be ITK on http://www.southamptonrumours.co.uk/ (based on previous accuracies and the regard people hold them in) it appears we have nearly signed Buttner, that butland has been making unhappy noises about not being aloud to talk to saints - and that he was at staple wood today. If not him then it is very widely reported that a keeper was at staple wood today. (The alternative rumour is Julio Ceasar which I can't see happening.) In addition, there appears to be another transfer in the works but it is an unknown name apparently. Make of it what you will. x

So Turkish - Are you starting to see reason yet? I'm telling you man, 5 years, this club will start to be on the verge of something big! (potentially)
-
No, unless Norwich have ignored them and gone for a consistent 99%

Birmingham fan drives 280 miles to buy new saints shirt.
Saint86 replied to Marsdinho's topic in The Saints
If you are not careful you will turn this genuinely nice thread in to an argument with Turkish about our catchment area. I have to say fair play to the guy, and I'm glad it made it into the papers! Its nice to have a decent story of average people once in a while! -
So in fact, the Southampton way is to continue failing - thanks for clearing that up!
-
This just in on Sky sports, he definitely wants to come here, I wonder what we are paying him to get that reaction about St Mary's lolololol - I suppose, compared to Loftus Road and Craven Cottage it must look like a mini old trafford
-
This is an absolute embarrassment. In short, on the day of season ticket release - no one can buy tickets. Soon to be on The Apprentice: You're Fired! - the saints IT and sales departments. Absolute Morons. There is not even an on-line statement indicating there is a problem but they expect the fans to keep trying for tickets regardless. Another own goal in the great saga that is "the Southampton way" I reckon that even the understaffed and stricken club down the road have managed to sell tickets on the release day

Especially since Iphones are overpriced and inferior to their competition in every way, and whats more, the gullable mongs who buy them then get tricked into buying all apple. Here is an idea... Why don't i buy an iphone for £100 on £41 a month when I can get a HTC for £31 a month and a free phone, on the same network, and which is superior in everyway except the company that makes it didn't have the audacity to think that they are equal to Mr Newton. Fagphones!

Reading are better equipped for the Premier League than Southampton
Saint86 replied to Elmore's topic in The Saints
Saints will stay up, in spite of that god-awful home kit, this squad is sound and will fair better than reading's in the top flight. The question is, will West Ham do better than us - because they have much greater squad depth and a manager who has been here before and has a very good top flight track record - In adkins we trust of course - Even if it does entail relegation and a second promotion. -
Honestly the sponsor is the worst part about it, look tacky as hell and is positioned far to high, should have at last made the centre of the letters the same colour as the shirt, oh wait, that would have been to much effort and involved a complicated cheap stick on sponsor :/ FFS
