Thanks for sharing this. My grandfather and his two brothers joined the Royal Sussex Regiment and fought on the Somme. All three survived the war. I now have my grandfather's Military Medal and Citation. He died in 1969 and I know it's become cliched but he never discussed his experiences except to occasionally pass some random comments. He was apparently very p***ed off that he couldn't join up for WW2. Instead he drove tankers of aviation fuel to the many airfields around Sussex and Hampshire. I have visited a few War Grave cemeteries travelling through France. Sometimes you follow a sign and find a cemetery with only a handful of graves. All beautifully kept. An unforgettable and emotional experience is to attend the nightly ceremony at the Menin Gate, Ypres.

One of my daughters is a teacher. Recently I mentioned Oliver Cromwell and she genuinely didn't know who he was. So I'm not sure what history she was taught! And no, she doesn't teach history.

Yes. No sign of mine yet. Confusing as to which platform you can view it on. Not all Nowtv boxes, has to be the black one. I've got a BT box (no longer subscribe) but not available on that. Looks like it will have to be BT Sports app on PC. If you have a chromecast you'll be able to watch on a TV.

It worked well for me. I was able to watch the crap in very good quality. Just checking but you do need to have a nowtv account for it to work.
