Ah, someone gets my point! The point is that none of us really wants to copy the Scousers even if some aren't as bothered as others. 59 year old blue socks aside, (I've only supported Saints for 40 odd years), we have several generations of feeling red and white. I quite like the idea that the shirt changes a bit from season to season but going all red is too far to go without consulting the faithful. Chavfinch is SERIOUS!

For me the whole thing is a disgrace. I am from Southampton not Liverpool. I support the Saints and we wear red and white stripes with black shorts. For an idiot foreigner to come to our country and change our identity is insulting and a disgrace. I won't be buying any of this rubbish. It's like changing the England kit and turning the Three Lions Red. You wouldn't see the Italians messing about with their plain Blue shirts and white shirts. It's who they are! As far as SFC is concerned, they have prostituted our identity to make more money from us. Must be run by Bankers!
