Didnt someone like tesco build a new supermarket with a footy ground attached years ago, maybe dorchester or somewhere?
-
Maybe. But it only states an alternative venue for a stadium, Fareham, Leigh Park, Havant, Brighton
-
Just read Danny Fox's take on last night game on the OS, think I must've watched a different game
-
Extract from the snooze He added that there is a clause in the Portsmouth Plan which prevents speculators buying Pompey just to sell its land. He said: ‘Fratton Park can only be used as a football ground so it has no value to a developer who wants to come in and put houses on it. We have told every group that has tried to buy the club that they can’t develop the site unless they provide an alternative venue for a stadium.’
-
Apparently the ground CANNOT be sold for any other use unless an alternative stadium is constructed somewhere else, so even tho chinny owns the stadium, its worthless without a football club. Perhaps he could buy waterlooville and then sell FP to Tesco

Wot a total load of SH*T. Weve mangaged promotion from L1 under cortese at the first go. We still sit 2nd in the NPC, the club have already brought in players and are still searching for more. 2 years ago we were fighting extinction and your arguing about not spending enough money! Wake up to yourself......W*nker

Premier League............Were avin a laugh. Performances like that wont even justify being in the NPC, totally embarased. Cant be a coincidence that our perfomances have been pretty sh*t since chappers got injured, even the games weve got a point from have been either lucky or against even worse sides than us. We need a shot in the arm from somewhere, returning players, new blood wotever, we need something and quick. It does amaze me tho, just last week people were talking about champions and being a force in the PL, now one defeat and were definately not going up this year, come on. Weve had an amazing run till Dec, weve got a load of injuries and the team need our support, not booed off the pitch. The fans were crap tonight, could hardly hear anyone but leicester singing. If we want promotion, everyone including the players , supporters need to give it 150%. Come on. This is the best chance were gonna get, lets not let it slip.

yes its getting pretty heated over at the news forum, dont think theres any saints there at the momment so there fighting amongst themselves, blaming everyone else as usual, demanding the council step in and help em out like its there duty for wot the club has done. laughable really but i think the penny has finally dropped and they now realise the trouble there in. Shame

Perhaps they'll put one up outside the high court marking the date they were liquidated.

Probably sponsored by Gatorade

Yes but if they did decide to sell wot would the prospective buyer be getting. 1. A first class 32k seater modern stadium 2. a Multi million pound state of the art training facility 3. A large even by PL standards loyal fan base with merchandising spin offs 4. The nucleas of a reasonable pL team Now wot do you have........................................eh....................................o yeah F*ck All

We both followed them home and away but she never forgave me for not letting her go to the ZDT at wembley coz she was 8 months pregnant.......women

I'm amazed theres still 1500 people employed there! I was made redundant in 1982 after i finished my apprenticeship because there wasnt enough work and the shipbuilding industry was in decline, I was led to believe the place was in moth balls with just a skeleton crew carrying out maintenance. Oh well its a sh*t hole anyway. When i worked there I was one of only 2 saints fans in the whole place, great fun winding them f*ckers up all day.
-
Perhaps it was issued late friday, and he didnt admit it till late saturday, sneaky f*cker, I'M JUST HAPPY THEY GOT ONE

Just a little snippet from the HMRC web site. The consequences of winding-up a company Following a winding-up order all trade must cease. The company director(s) will be required to attend the Official Receiver’s or liquidator’s office to • hand over the company’s books and records • provide the details of the company’s finances, assets and creditors • explain the reasons why the business failed. HM Revenue & Customs may request that the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) investigate instances where the company has • deliberately withheld payments to the Crown • failed to operate a PAYE scheme • participated in wrongful trading • reused the company name • made transactions at undervalue. This could result in the directors being disqualified from running a company for a period of between 2 and 15 years. If directors have traded with the same or a similar company name without the court’s permission, all debts incurred may become their personal liability.

Right so I think I understand wot has been said, can I just confirm. As HMRC have issued the winding up petition 1. PFC cannot be sold to anyone, the only way they can gain extra revenue is by one of the current investers / owners chucking em another wedge. 2. They cannot sell any assets or players? untill the hearing. 3. Only CSI are able to be sold as the WUP is not against them and then the new owner of CSI could prop up PFC. 4.There bank accounts are frozen explaing why the next game is gonna be cash only in order to pay the players this month and prob avoid more tax. I think I understand but judging by his comments i dont think AA does. I cannot see how the FL cant justify a points deduction this time, it should have happened before xmas. Their **** weak. A different country and a diff sport i know but a couple of years back in the Aussie Rugby League, Melbourne Storm were found guilty of running two sets of account books in order to avoid the salary cap which is in place so they could cheat and recruit the best players. When the NRL board found out they were punished by. 1. They were stripped of 2 (i think) premiership titles. 2. Fined heavily 3. Forced to play out there remaining fixtures without accruing any points regardless of result. ( they won most of their remaining games) 4. Lost all their points that season so finished bottom ( no relegation in that league) 5. Started the next season minus 10 points (i think) Now thats a deterant, why is the FL such a soft touch, unless your a small club, with little support, no money etc. The FL should throw the book at em, after all they did the same just 2 years ago FFS. I will only be satisfied if they are wound up and any clubs that have been affected during this shambles get there points back.
