Billy Sharp - Joins Notts Forest on Season Long Loan
Maggie May replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Great player and I hoped he would've been given more of a chance to show what he can do in the Prem. Good luck, Billy. Just hope we stay up this year. If not, i hope you stick with us to fire us back. -
It's over, chaps.

Emmanuel Mayuka - Officially Signed on OS - Work Permit Confirmed
Maggie May replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Odds on him being this season's most offside player? -
This thread sums up how wonderfully woeful this place has become. Thank goodness it only represents a minuscule portion of our fan base. It's borderline psychotic at the moment, so lord knows what it'll descend into if we have a poor season.

No he doesn't. He wants to play for a club who can bolster his bank balance. If this does happen, and I sincerely hope it does (intent yada yada etc), he'll be soon off once it's clear we're not challenging for honours. Clearly he's not stupid.

But that's football though. When has it ever been regimented with the same outcome? It's not always about tactics or which team has the better players. Luck plays a massive part.

I'd be more than happy turning my back on football altogether if Redknapp ever returns here. It's laughable some fans are even contemplating the idea when we haven't kicked a ball in the Premier League and have one of the best up and coming British managers in the game. Isn't that what we were craving for so long since HR took us down?

This place thrives on pessimism.

Wigan will be fine. Swansea, WBA, Stoke and Norwich will all struggle.

Here's what I posted on July 13. Obviously needs a bit of work.

Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi to Pompey.

It was savage, though Bellamy over-egged it.

Are the beeb showing every Team GB match? Personally, I'm sick of international footy after the woeful Euros.

I admit I don't know much about Clyne but it's exciting to sign promising young players rather than journey men. It would be refreshing to field one of the youngest teams in the Premier League - and impress.

How can you even begin to compare half of those players when some haven't experienced the highest division? Beattie consistently performed well in a Premier League team and hadn't even tasted the lower divisions. Davis was considered a liability for Sunderland (though has improved dramatically with us, albeit not in the Prem). Telfer was an honest pro who put always put in a good shift, even when he was at Premier League Coventry, and went on to play for Celtic after us. Spiderman hasn't even played for his national team, while Svensson is still the captain of his!
