No bed wetting here – just my two pence. Next up is Stoke. In Saints' current form, I can only see we'll get turned over at the Britannia, which is notoriously our bogey ground. Then we host Liverpool and we all know what happened last time they came to St Mary's. Leicester. I'm sure their title charge will still be in effect as they've got the benefit of their rivals playing European fixtures. Everyone will expect three points from Newcastle but I reckon McClaren will be gone and they may benefit from new manager syndrome. Their record is poor at St Mary's but records are their to be broken. As I said, we're not playing THAT well and everything could change in the next game but, if you go back to the Chelsea build-up thread, I stressed how important it was to beat them as the last time we went on a winning streak, only to lose, we went on a horrendous run and that's the last thing we want at this stage of the season.

Always knew he could make it.

Yeah, called this one before the match. Also predicted we'd go on a losing streak after our seventh unbeaten. It happened earlier in the season. For some reason it takes forever for the team to regain confidence. Absolutely dire today.
-
Tough game, not confident. No justification, really. Just a hunch.

Did anyone spot the subliminal message? He's going to Man City in the summer.

Dia (Dyer) Road, Shirley. On a more serious note, Kachloul Boulevard, Millbrook.

He means Michael Andrews. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/140698.stm

Ha! A video of more than six minutes on one player and the best bit of it isn't even about him!

Pelle was brilliant against Chelsea in October, tbf.

Saints have to get something from this game. We went on that terrible losing streak the last time we went six unbeaten this season. And in this topsy turvey season you'd hate for it to happen again.

3 reds in 13.

I love the quote on the match day thread how they could see CMS playing in the Prem, proving we can't really predict anything in football.

Wenger and Koeman handbags in the tunnel

Jamie Sanderson needs to actually read the article before rehashing it himself. He's got completely the wrong end of the stick. Embarrassing. -
It was just B-ANTER

Stoke City certainly have a good eye for a goalie. Shame.

The Academy, how many PL quality players has and how often?
Maggie May replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Saints
Oh come on, Kenwyne was hardly an academy product. -
Right.... Premier League team: check Premier League player: check Both more well known in this country over Twente or other transferred players: check That's so sensationalist *rolls eyes* I've said it before, Saints fans suffer from a bizarre epidemic where they read what they want to read or believe what they want to believe, always outweighing facts.

Sorry guys, there's really no need to do this. It'll be a failure from the outset. Fair play for having a crack at it though. It'll be poorly written judging by the questions. I guarantee you won't be able to get interviews with players. Most former Saints express their views on Twitter these days or provide the odd sound bite via the Echo. There's only so much fans will care about hearing what former players have to say about the current state of things. If the club is playing well and everything is honky dory, they'll be churning out the praise. If there's a bad spell, they'll be jumping on the bandwagon. The only way this will work is if you nail a niche, and that's incredibly hard to do with football. Saying all this, I'll buy nine copies.

He's been given the number 3:16.
